EnergyBet is a fresh and innovative site that launched in 2016. They combine a great welcome offer with an attractive and user-friendly design while offering thousands of events and markets.
Sadly, they do not offer horse racing or greyhounds. But, that is their only real downfall as a gambling product. EnergyBet are well worth a try for their high odds and welcome offer alone.
EnergyBet is a fairly new betting site, first launching in 2016 while winning several awards in their first few years of operating. Notably, they won a 2018 Rising Star in Sportsbeting award from SBC.
Their main offices are in Malta, but they have licences in the UK and provide a safe and secure sportsbook for you to bet on.
EnergyBet does not currently have a signup bonus for UK customers, instead, check out our list of exclusive betting offers worth over £2500.
EnergyBet has an interesting sportsbook layout, one that certainly stands out, but in a good way. It can look confusing at first but give it time, and you will learn how easy and user-friendly this design is.
However, the giant moving banner across the top of the page is an annoying distraction that could certainly be made smaller. It is good for informing you of their different promotions/rewards schemes, but it takes up around 1/3 of the front page.
Also, the traditional quick links to all the sports on the left-hand side of the page is not available on EnergyBet. Instead, you have to click on the "Sports" tab at the top of the page and you will see all of the sports listed on one page. A quick links list would be appreciated, but this can work just as fast once you figure it out.
Once you click on your desired sport, you are taken to a page with events listed by their country with the countries flag and name. You can also filter the events by when they start, either 1 hour, 3 hours or 24 hours. Then, you click through to the country of your choice, and you see all events available by their league. Here, you can click on the individual leagues or see all events in one list.
To be honest, it is quite a time-consuming process, but not too different from the standard list layout. We feel EnergyBet would benefit from introducing a page for the day's events all in one list, instead of having to click through four links to get there.
When you finally reach the event you are looking for, you will not be disappointed with the markets available. In the top leagues of football, you will regularly see 200+ markets including all the popular bets.
But, it is still quite confusing when looking for the right market. If you scroll down too far you can still see other events as they almost merge into each other.
They would benefit from showing them on an external page or at least making it clearer. Only a small grievance, but one we feel is worth mentioning.
Horse racing and greyhounds are not available at EnergyBet. Compare the best horse racing betting sites in the UK if you are looking to bet on any racing markets.
Impressively, EnergyBet has a ton of sports for you to choose from, with plenty of events too. They have a massive range of sports and events which could easily compete with some of the best in the industry.
The live betting section is also at the top of the page, and they still have a massive banner along the top. But, it's easy enough to scroll it out of view. There are three different views you can choose from in the live betting section.
Firstly, the "Conference View" shows all of the live sports in one long list. It is our preferred view, and it's easy to minimise the sports you do not want to see. Secondly, the single view shows the live events in tabs organised by their sport.
Simply click on your desired sport to view the live events in that sport. However, the list view is different here as it does not show the odds available unless you click on the event you want to view.
Lastly, you have the "Live calendar" view in which you can see the events by day and filter by sport. This will be organised by the time of kick-off though and doesn't work amazingly well for quick bet building.
Sadly, there is no live streaming available at EnergyBet, check out our live streaming guide for all betting sites that offer free live streams.
EnergyBet has fantastic customer service, but sadly it is not open 24/7. But, you can contact them using several different methods and their customer service employees are great. You will find their customer service in the "Help" tab in the top-right of the screen.

In conclusion, we are impressed with EnergyBet's overall gambling package, in particular, its wide range of sports and betting markets. Navigation can take time, but they have thousands of events for you to choose from.
We would like to see horse racing and greyhounds added to their sports list, but it is not an issue if you do not gamble on the racing. Also, live streaming and a simpler list layout for building bets would be appreciated.
Overall, EnergyBet is a great betting site that could be perfect if you are looking for a new bookmaker. However, the top betting sites in the industry still have a lot more to offer.

Great bookie. They have a lot of eSports which I enjoy now since the whole pandemic. After I got my second win I sent the documents and got quickly verified.

Liars and crooks. Beware that they love to BLOCK WITHDRAWALS ON ALREADY VERIFIED ACCOUNTS Their Finance Department are absolute scumbags. If you care about getting paid if you win I suggest avoiding Energy Bet like the plague.
