Kwiff may not be as unique as when it first arrived on the market, but there are still some features that separate the site from other UK bookmakers. Although it is still regarded as a relatively new site in the UK, Kwiff was actually launched back in 2015 by Anders Ström (founder of Unibet) and Karl Engström. In the first few years of its existence, Kwiff was only available on mobile, with users needing to download the iOS or Android app to access the sportsbook.

Has Kwiff Been Fined by the UKGC?
Unfortunately, while Kwiff is considered a safe betting site in the UK, the parent company Eaton Gate Gaming Limited has been fined by the UKGC on one occasion. It happened in December 2022 as the bookie was found to have breached anti-money laundering and social responsibility relations, slapped with a fine in the neighbourhood of £500k.
Without a doubt, this is poor from the bookie and it pains us to see that these breaches are made way too often even by the best betting sites. Social responsibility is only increasing in importance and it remains to be seen how the UKGC will tackle this issue.
Kwiff Welcome and Sign-Up Offers
Compared to other free bet welcome offers, Kwiff comes in straight down the middle with £30 in free bets up for grabs. This used to be a 'surprise bet', meaning the bookie would place it for you, but now it's restricted to certain markets instead.
New customers just need to place a first bet of at least £10 at a minimum odds of 1/2 (1.5) to take part in the welcome offer. It is worth noting that Supercharged odds, which is one of Kwiff's features, do not count towards the promotion.
Potential winnings from the free bet can be withdrawn straight away but the stake will not be returned. All in all, it is a good welcome offer for customers who are thinking about signing up on Kwiff. It should also be noted that no Kwiff promo code is needed for the offer.
For the casino section, new customers can get up to 200 free spins on the game Book of Dead, but need to play for at least £20 daily within the first five days to get all of them. The maximum number of free spins that a customer can get per day is 40, to the value of £4. And while there are no wagering requirements on the winnings, the latter are capped at £250, which makes this welcome offer a letdown.

The one downside to this promotion is that it is not entirely clear how often a 'Supercharge' can occur. We decided to put Supercharge to the test during our review of the bookie and it certainly exceeded our expectations, even if the latter were not exactly high. Kwiff Withdrawal Methods
Customers at Kwiff will be able to choose between the same payment methods for withdrawal as for depositing funds. It is also worth noting that due to money laundering regulations, you will need to use the same method, at least for the amount you deposited. For example, if you deposited £20, you need to withdraw £20 to the same method before you can make a switch.
Another important thing to note is the minimum withdrawal amount for PayPal. The popular e-wallet is used by many people all over the world but when it comes to Kwiff, it might not be the best choice. How to Verify an Account at Kwiff
As with all bookmakers in the UK, given the regulations set up by the Gambling Commission, there is a verification process in place at Kwiff. Upon completing the registration, Kwiff aims to automatically confirm the identity of the new customer in question, using the details provided. However, in some cases, customers will be asked to provide additional information:

Kwiff Sportsbook
Kwiff does not offer as many sports or betting markets as most traditional betting sites. In fact, at the time of this review, there are a mere 19 sports available on this site. This will be perfectly fine for most bettors, in truth, but it is clear that Kwiff lags behind the main competition when it comes to the sports offering. Below are some of the top sports available:

But what about the sports that are available, are there many markets available? On a whole, the answer is yes as there are many events and a decent amount of markets to pick from. Kwiff even offers betting a low-level events such as the Serie D, which is the fourth football tier in Italy, though the popular feature bet builder is missing as things stand. Nevertheless, Kwiff earned a spot on the list of best new football bookies on our page.
Customers who prefer to place very specific and complex bets might be better off turning to one of the top UK bookmakers, with a lot more markets available. Furthermore, most of the top sites offer the ability to suggest a bet if the markets required are missing, which makes it hard for betting brands such as Kwiff to compete.
As for the odds, customers have the chance of getting their bets 'supercharged' or 'Kwiffed'. Essentially, the odds of a bet you place can be randomly boosted, but it does not happen with every bet. Boosted or not, though, some players and professional gamblers have complained about the high betting margins. In our independent tests, we can confirm that Kwiff has one of the highest betting margins we have seen, at an average of 11.3%.
Bettors will likely find more value on a bookie that consistently offers low margins, rather than hoping for the random supercharged odds, which still might not make up the difference of the high margins.
Furthermore, there does not seem to be any special markets available, which is a big disadvantage given that punters sometimes like to see TV betting odds offered or perhaps predict the outcome of an election.

Kwiff Casino
Given that the sportsbook struggles to compete with the top bookmakers in the UK, it is almost imperative for Kwiff to have its casino section as well. While it might not be the most comprehensive casino either, customers will find a selection of around 2,000 games, ranging from slot games, table games and a live casino with many interesting options.
The live casino section is operated by Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play, two well-known providers in the industry, and this means the selection is certainly sufficient in the Kwiff Live Casino. Popular games such as Lightning Roulette and Cash&Crash are among those available, while the games are filtered by category.
In addition to five sections, with many different subcategories, customers can also use the search function to narrow down their results and this makes for easy navigation on the Kwiff Casino. Compared to other big online casinos in the UK, though, it is clear that Kwiff is a bit behind and the verdict is thus similar to the sportsbook.
Kwiff Mobile App
As we mentioned in the 'About Kwiff' section, the brand first started out as a mobile app-only sportsbook and customers would thus expect the app to be very good, eight years on. That certainly seems to be the case, with the app registering great reviews on both the App Store and the Google Play store, at 4.5 and 4.5 out of five stars respectively.
Although it is not surprising given the background, Kwiff still deserves praise for having one of the best betting apps around. The app features a grey and purple design, in line with the Kwiff logo, and it is easy to navigate using the categories at the very top. The casino games are also available in the app, at least on the Android version, and this makes for a very good app overall.
While some bookmakers struggle to migrate their website features to an app, Kwiff has the advantage of doing it the other way around. And to that, it must be said that the website (both mobile and desktop) also looks very clean and it is certainly easy to navigate on the site. Some bettors prioritise a good app experience, which Kwiff can provide, and this could outweigh the lack of some sportsbook markets.

Although every betting site needs to have good customer support, this is especially the case for new betting sites that are looking to make their mark in a saturated market. Fortunately for Kwiff, having been around longer than most underdogs in the industry, the customer support is more than sufficient with a live chat available 24/7.
Those who prefer to contact the customer support team via email can do so, but there is no phone or social media support. Overall, our experiences with Kwiff's live chat support agents were quick, helpful and took less than a minute to reach an agent each time. Absolutely nothing to like about this bookmaker. I find them personally to be evasive, unresponsive and obstructive in all their dealings with me. Please read all reviews before you decide though.
Very disorganized bookie with a lot of things that they need to fix
The odds are terrible compared to other bookies websites. They "Kwiff" your odds every 4/5th time to improve the odds, but this in most cases is a slight increase in the odds in my opinion. I'd much rather a proper odds option than their Kwiff option.
Their Verification team are absolutely terrible. Expect to do some arts and crafts when confirming your identity with paper and scissors. Very stupid policies or maybe just their interpretation of the Regulations.
I will be contacting the regulator shortly as they have withheld €400 after I closed the account. They seem to have no interest in repaying me as their verification team drag their heels. Not sure if this is driven by their corporate policies, just laziness or maybe incompetence.
Still waiting for a resolution on the issue, but you risk all of the above by proceeding with them....
So, the account is closed, but no transfer of funds automatically happens???
Kwiff will retain user funds unless the user explicitly asks for the funds back???
I asked for my funds to be transfered before the Kwiff Verification team delayed everything.
So once I finished needlessly and repeatedly supplied all the Verification team requests, the withdrawal should have started, shouldn't it?
Instead, I have sent 4 emails since the verification, and my withdrawal has STILL not even been initiated.
This is very, very sub-par behaviour by Kwiff.
