Who Owns NetBet?
It has been several years since NetBet burst onto the UK betting scene, launched in 2017 by NetBet Enterprises Limited, but most punters would still label it as one of the new betting sites. The decision to bring in Ray Parlour as a brand ambassador shows the bookie is serious about its operation, but it has still been unable to break through properly.
Having said that, NetBet has attracted a decent amount of punters thanks to a comprehensive sportsbook and good betting margins. Therefore, one can also understand why there might be questions about potential sister sites, but those looking will come to the same conclusion: there are none.
My Thoughts on NetBet
As we discussed in our review, NetBet has made a relatively strong start and the fact that it isn't just another white-label bookie leaves us with some optimism. The sportsbook is comprehensive, featuring the necessary markets and then some, while the betting margins are surprisingly low for such a young betting site at 5% on average.
This is up there with the best betting margins in the UK, which says a lot. On the other hand, NetBet could do with improving its welcome offer and we also experienced verification issues when attempting to withdraw funds from the site. It was all sorted in the end, but this is one of quite a few improvement areas for the bookie.

Compared to NetBet, Betano is a brand-new betting site as the launch took place in May 2024. The bookie has been active in other markets for quite some time but opted to partner with BV Gaming for the UK market, which was a good decision. Being a sister site of BetVictor is not too shabby indeed.
In addition to a good sign-up bonus, Betano has a comprehensive sportsbook and there is also the Lucky Dip promotion, but this is the only one on the site. The betting margins, however, are a bit too high for our liking at 8.27% and this is something that BV Gaming will have to fix.
