Spreadex is a leading UK spread betting and CFD trading provider, offering a wide range of markets on sports, finance, and indices. Spreadex is known for its competitive spreads, innovative features, and excellent customer service.
In this review, we will take a closer look at everything that Spreadex UK has to offer, from its spread betting markets to its customer service. We will also highlight some of the pros and cons of using Spreadex UK, so that you can make an informed decision about whether it is the right provider for you.
Spreadex is an experienced, legal and licensed UK gambling operator that offers sports spread betting, fixed odds, and an online casino. Since 1999, Spreadex has been offering its spread betting product. Then, launching the fixed odds platform in 2010, and the online casino in 2011.
In this review, we will focus on the Spreadex sports betting product including spread betting and fixed odds. Before we get into reviewing the sports betting products, it is important to note that Spreadex "reserves the right" to charge £1 on card deposits under £50.
At the time of this review, Spreadex offers 23 different sports to bet on and a wide range of betting markets. You can view and cycle between spread bets and fixed odds bets easily by clicking the "Spread Betting" or "Fixed Odds" tabs above the events.
On popular sporting events (Premier League football) you can find well over 500 different betting markets to choose from including custom bets using the "Bet Builder" feature. You can choose from a great selection of markets when creating your own bet, including over/under, match result, corners, goals, players to be carded and more. But, we did not find any Asian betting markets, unfortunately.
As for the betting margins, Spreadex is a little bit better than average with margins of 5.81% in our independent tests. Of course, the sample size is small, but it does give you an idea of how much Spreadex "charges" you to place bets.
If you are planning to place spread bets on sports with Spreadex, we recommend watching this beginner guide before betting.
Unfortunately, the Spreadex customer support is not available 24/7, and only open from 08:00 am - 5:30 pm 7 days a week. But, you can contact Spreadex support using several different methods including a live chat, phone number and email address.
Overall, Spreadex offers a great spread betting product and a competitive sportsbook (fixed odds) to compete with some of the bigger betting sites in the industry. You will find a wide range of markets, competitive odds, live streaming, custom betting options, and user-friendly betting apps and desktop site.
But, we would like to see 24/7 customer support, especially from a gambling operator that has been around for so long. Also, we would like to see more payment methods, and the removal of the £1 fee if you deposit less than £50. Still, if you are looking for an operator that accepts both spread betting and fixed odds, Spreadex could be a great option for you.
