CopyBet offers something very different from the norm, with the brand making a case to be one of the most interesting online betting sites in the UK right now as a result of its new innovation.

With the QPR deal having been extended so it will run throughout the 2023-24 English Football League season, CopyBet has moved to snap up Shay Given as its first-ever brand ambassador. Given, the former Newcastle United and Republic of Ireland international, was previously in a similar role with Leo Vegas. The goalkeeper said: "I'm delighted to have signed for CopyBet and look forward to working with the CopyBet team. All is set for another exciting football season in both domestic and European competitions. With Euro 2024 taking place in Germany at the end of the season, there is so much for football fans to look forward to over the next 12 months."

Although CopyBet was actually established in 2016, it is only recently that the company has become a lot more popular in the world of online sports betting in the UK. The firm now has around 18,000 different events to bet on in its sportsbook every day, so there is lots of choice.

There is no esports section, which is a curious omission given the rapid rise in popularity when it comes to betting on CS:GO, Dota 2 and so on. There is no virtual sports section either, while anyone who likes to play casino games as well as place sports bets will be disappointed here. Some special markets like Strictly Come Dancing and various global elections are offered.

The value of the odds at the CopyBet sportsbook is OK, but they are not among the best around. Those who value being able to get top prices will need to shop around to get them. Like a lot of the major online bookmakers that are catering for UK sports fans these days, CopyBet customers can also benefit from a bet builder tool. Here, British football fans can put together a same-game acca that can have very big potential profits if accurate predictions can be made.

Linking up with QPR means CopyBet customers can get a £5 free bet on all the team's games. This is something very different from the norm and may appeal to those who want to try out something unique here.
