On the face of it, CopyBet may seem like an interesting option for punters in the UK, but the truth is that it doesn't really stand out in any category. As a competitor in the football and horse racing betting sphere, it's overshadowed quite heavily by other bookmakers.
However, there are a few positives to mention. First and foremost, CopyBet's overnight best odds guaranteed is not matched by anyone else in the UK, with most bookies offering BOG from 8 am onwards. Additionally, an in-house tipping service is quite attractive, especially with prizes available.
Unfortunately, we did run into a few struggles with withdrawing funds, with it not being clear when we would receive the funds. Furthermore, the lack of payment options drag the score down a bit. Saying this, though, the customer support was excellent in helping us eventually get the money.
All things considered, CopyBet just about serves a purpose and the horse racing community could get some value from the BOG offerings, but it's not exactly a must-have bookmaker. A middle-of-the-road rating feels appropriate given this.

CopyBet was founded in 2016 and has taken on several different focuses during its history so far. Initially hammering home the 'Copy Bet' feature, i.e. being able to copy bets of other punters, it has since branched out to become a more complete product.
The brand hasn't exactly remained in the shadows either. Previously the sponsors of the Championship outfit QPR, it now sponsors the Premier League side Bournemouth, so it's clear that it's well backed in the sponsorship department.
Being visible isn't always the sign of a good bookmaker, though. So, in this review, we look at the sports product as well as the overall experience. By the end, we hope to provide you with a complete idea of what the bookmaker is like and whether it is worth signing up for an account.

For us, we don't mind either way of being licensed, as long as the quality and safety are there. With CopyBet, the safety certainly is; it's just a question of its quality - which we'll get to.

Unfortunately, CopyBet hasn't been the most well-reviewed site on Trustpilot, but it's worth noting that betting sites rarely are given good reviews. When money and emotion are involved, that tends to be the case indeed.
Most complaints are about customer service problems relating to verification, and CopyBet - as we can see - has regularly replied to these issues and solved them. So, whether these ratings would change with these actions is something else.
Nevertheless, we feel the 2.2 rating is quite harsh, but then again, that's why we're here. Our review is not based on emotional biases, but simply the facts and our own use of the site.
💰 Has CopyBet Ever Been Fined?
CopyBet has a completely clean record with the UKGC, which is fantastic and should be the norm. We've become too accustomed to seeing sites with poor records, so this offers peace of mind for customers.
CopyBet Deposit Methods
Deposits at CopyBet can be questioned a little. Only two methods are available for customers right now, namely debit cards and instant bank transfers, which is admittedly a bit limiting. Furthermore, you can only use one method at a time, although that relates more to UKGC regulations.
As for the minimum deposit, a £10 amount is in place and that was somewhat expected. We often see less popular bookmakers start at £10 and then drop to £5, rather than going the other way. Of course, we'd like to see the lower amount, but we understand why a higher minimum is often in place.
For some, that may be off-putting and if that's the case, there are several £5 deposit bookmakers in the UK. You could definitely say that most of them offer better products than CopyBet too. Below, we have collected everything you need to know about deposits on the site.

CopyBet Withdrawal Methods
Withdrawing with CopyBet is where we ran into a few issues. If you use a debit card to withdraw your funds, the payments are processed as refunds, rather than separate transactions. It becomes quite difficult to track the speed of payments when this is the case.
Rather than the money leaving your bank account instantly, it stayed as 'pending' in our deposit test. When we then withdrew, that outgoing payment was cancelled, meaning it was nearly impossible to track whilst going about our day-to-day business.
So instead, we opted to use Instant Bank Transfer when withdrawing - after having our method changed by the live chat - as only one method can be active at once. That resulted in the money arriving instantly, putting it among the fast withdrawal betting sites.
We have to credit CopyBet for their help here, especially since the withdrawal time was then fast, but it's a frustrating system to come to terms with. Below, we have collected everything you need to know about withdrawals on the site.

You are met with more than 25 different sports options when you first enter the site. Then, there is also the ability to bet on E-Sports (Valorant, Counter-Strike 2, etc.), as well as novelty specials.
Off the bat, this is fantastic.
Each area is incredibly full; it must be said. For example, there are more than 1,000 football fixtures to bet on, as well as hundreds of in-game markets.
Bet Builders are supported, but the market depth could be improved here compared to some of the best football bookmakers.
Horse racing has its own section within the site, and there are fixtures from across the world. Of course, the focus is on UK and Irish racing, though.
Markets, again, are a little limited - only Win, Each/Way and Forecasts are supported - but the inclusion of streaming and Best Odds Guaranteed is a substantial positive.
We cannot overlook the fact that BOG is available overnight as well, ensuring you're getting the best prices possible! This is something which not even the most popular horse racing bookmakers offer.
There is even a dedicated antepost section for racing, meaning you can place your bets on Cheltenham, the Grand National and Royal Ascot well in advance.
We also think it's important to address the elephant in the room. Formerly, there was a 'Copy Bet' option, but this has since been removed, making the name a little redundant, perhaps.
Nevertheless, there is plenty of good that can still be done with the site.
For example, there is a 'Betting Tips' area, which features write-ups for a range of different sports and events. Then, there is a dedicated 'Tipsters' area, where you can follow different punters on their selections.
It's worth noting that the best tipsters every week get cash prizes, whilst you can also win prizes for profitable months. Anyone can take part in this, so this is a fun way to test your bets.
CopyBet Casino Review
We often see betting sites offering casinos, even if their brands have nothing to do with it. However, this is not the case for CopyBet. It is solely a betting-focused site, meaning there are no slots or games available to play.
For some, this may be seen as a positive. If you're looking for an all-in-one brand, though, featuring a sportsbook and a casino, we have reviewed plenty of sites like that.
It's worth saying that not having a casino isn'talways a bad thing, as the bookie can then focus on what matters to the brand. In CopyBet's case, that's absolutely the sportsbook and as such, it may be worth giving it a chance because it doesn't have a casino.

The CopyBet app is what you'd expect in 2026, really, and that's a strong positive. We have seen far too many betting apps operating for years gone by without any major updates.
CopyBet, on the other hand, is up to date. Navigation is really simple and accessing promotions or your bet slip is quick and easy to do. With the markets on offer, this makes it a thoroughly enjoyable experience to use the app.
At the time of writing, there have been 25 updates in only nine months, showing a clear desire to keep the app working smoothly. The ratings on the app stores also reflect this.

As is standard, reality checks are enforced, whilst it is recommended that you have a deposit limit on your account.

We found this to be really useful, even if we didn't actually need any help.
Alternatively, you can speak to CopyBet via email (located at the bottom of the site) or via live chat. The latter connects you to a bot and there is no way to reach a human here. Instead, you have to use the 'Get in Touch' option that takes you to a contact form, which is frustrating.
For what it's worth, CopyBet is really good at replying to complaints, as alluded to in the Trustpilot section. At the time of writing, there had been 26 reviews of the site on Trustpilot, with the brand replying to all but one (which had been left a few days prior).
Each time, CopyBet managed to resolve issues with money not being returned - due to verification problems - or got accounts back up and working. We cannot overlook this and it deserves immense credit.
