Launched in 2023, Betgrouse is a new betting site on the market and is operated by AG Communications under a white-label solution. How does it stack up against the competition, what are the main pros and cons, and is it worth signing up? In this review, we discuss everything you need to know.
Betgrouse is part of the wave of new betting sites that have been launched in the UK recently, hitting the market earlier this year. The site is owned by the Cyprus-based Scartesu Limited, though operated by the Malta-based AG Communications Ltd under a white-label solution.
The latter has become increasingly common with new betting sites and sister sites to Betgrouse include BzeeBet and ZetBet, which we have reviewed in the past. Potential bettors will thus want to find out if Betgrouse is safe, what the sportsbook is like and whether it is worth signing up on the site. In this review, we discuss all of this and more.
Betgrouse is operated by the Malta-based AG Communications Ltd, which is licenced and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority overseas. In the UK, AG Communications is licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission. As such, the services provided to customers on Betgrouse have acquired all the licenses needed and can thus be considered safe for customers.
However, there is some cause for concern as AG Communications was fined a whopping £237,600 back in 2022 for failing to carry out proper due diligence on some of their white-label sites. This resulted in breaches of the money laundering regulations and AG Communications is likely to be even more strict with identity verification moving forward, which could affect customers.
As we have seen plenty examples of in the past, it is not always easy to verify an account on UK betting sites, and failure to do so often results in account suspension - regardless if there are winnings in the account at the time.
Betgrouse has two welcome offers available, one for the sportsbook and one for the casino. Starting with the former, the site is offering a £10 free bet, with new customers needing to place a £15 bet. The latter must be placed at a minimum odds of evens (2.00), and then the free bet will be credited to the customer's account.
The £10 free bet must be placed at a minimum odds of 4/5 (1.80) and the stake will not be returned with potential winnings. On the plus side, the winnings do not have any wagering requirements and can be withdrawn right away. The drawback of the welcome offer, however, is that customers depositing with the E-wallets PayPal, Neteller, Paysafe and Skrill will not be eligible.
For the casino, customers can double their first deposit at Betgrouse, though the maximum bonus is capped at £25. To qualify, customers need to make a minimum deposit of £20 and will also be given 25 free spins on Book Of Dead as part of the welcome offer. The winnings have to be wagered 35 times, and overall it is an okay offer from Betgrouse.
Sports bettors will be disappointed to find out that aside from the welcome offer, there are no promotions available on Betgrouse for the sportsbook. This is a major con of the site as many of the top betting sites in the UK regularly update their sites with promotions to entice existing customers, both with permanent promotions and event-based ones.
The case is more or less the same for the Casino, although there is a Christmas-inspired offer for customers to make use of at the time of writing. Nevertheless, it is clear that Betgrouse severely lags behind the competition when it comes to promotions, which is disappointing as the welcome offer was at least decent.
There is a range of payment methods available on Betgrouse and this is certainly a good thing for new customers looking to sign up. MasterCard and Visa are available, as expected, but popular E-wallets such as PayPal and Skrill can also be chosen. However, when opting for the latter, customers will not be able to make use of the welcome offer.
The minimum deposit amount will vary depending on the method, so head over to the Betgrouse cashier to find out the exact amounts. Below are all of the payment methods available on Betgrouse.

The withdrawal methods are the same as the deposit methods, but it is worth comparing the processing time between them. This should be done before making a deposit, as withdrawals at Betgrouse will be made with the same method that was used to deposit funds. This is in accordance with money laundering regulations.
Below is everything you need to know about the withdrawal methods available at Betgrouse, as well as the processing time for each one.

After registering at Betgrouse, you will be asked to complete the verification process before you can make a deposit. Initially, you will be asked to provide the following:
To upload these documents, head over to 'My Account' and tap on 'Documents Upload'. After that, you will receive instructions on how to proceed with the upload. Customers at Betgrouse may also need to upload proof of funds to withdraw from the account, which is worth keeping in mind.
Operated by the gambling giant AG Communications, it comes as no surprise that the casino section on Betgrouse is comprehensive. Many of the sister sites are focused solely on casino games and customers should thus expect a good selection at Betgrouse as well. Slots games make up a majority of the casino, as you would expect, but there are also some card games available.
On its mobile version, Betgrouse has a dedicated section for the live casino and customers will be able to choose between a range of games. For example, those who are looking to play some roulette have 55 options between regular and live games. Other popular games such as Blackjack are also available in the live section.
Customers can filter the games by seven categories, such as 'New' and 'Live Casino' and there is also a search function in the top right corner. There, customers can search either by game or provider. However, upon testing, we found that this function suffered from a bit of lagging. Furthermore, some of the categories were missing from the desktop version, such as 'Live Casino'.
While the casino appears to be the more comprehensive of the two, the sportsbook looks fairly decent at face value and there is a good amount of sports available to bet on. This is very important especially for new UK betting sites, which are looking to go head-to-head with the big competition. Some of the more popular sports at Betgrouse include:
The focus on horse racing and greyhound racing is certainly nice and there are a decent amount of markets available. In the UK, it makes sense to give these sports more attention, just as football remains one of the most important sports for betting. The site suggests that ante-post betting is available for some horse racing meetings, but at the time of testing there were no options under that tab.
Despite the many football competitions available, Betgrouse does not offer a bet builder and that is a huge drawback for football fans. Many of the top betting sites for football consider the bet builder function a must, and this is something that Betgrouse must improve to compete.
Other interesting markets for bettors to take a look at include Esports such as Counter-Strike, Dota 2, Valorant and more. The 'Special' section, furthermore, features markets such as politics - including UK politics - entertainment, music and sports. This means that bettors who sign up at Betgrouse will have many options to choose between.
As for the odds, Betgrouse claims to have one of the best around. With a quick betting margin calculation, which you can read all about here, Betgrouse scored a margin of 7,9%. Bet365, on the other hand, had a margin of just 5,5% on the same event. This suggests that bettors should not sign up at Betgrouse for the odds.
It has become increasingly important for betting sites to offer a solid app, even though using a browser on mobile has become easier. With an app, betting sites can send notifications and customers can also access the services faster. Some bettors even chose their sites best on which site has the best betting app available.
Betgrouse recently launched an app of its own, which can be found on the App Store. Seeing as it's so new, there are no reviews of it yet but judging by the photos, it has a rather easy design which is very similar to the mobile website. In any case, it's good for customers who want that bit of extra convenience when placing their bets.
To download the app, simply head over to the App Store and search 'Betgrouse – Casino & Betting'. You should then be able to find the app, and you just need to hit 'Install' to complete the process. We were unable to find the app on the Google Play Store, which is for Android users, but it might be added in the near future given that the iOS version was just launched.
Given the plethora of betting sites available for bettors these days, responsible gambling has become increasingly important. The betting sites have a big responsibility in that sense, as good welcome offers and promotions must also be mixed with tools that help avoid gambling addiction. The latter, unfortunately, has become far too common.
Betgrouse has several tools available for customers to ensure responsible gambling. These include but are not limited to:
There is a page dedicated to responsible gambling on Betgrouse, where customers also can respond to a series of questions to assess their betting habits. Whether you are an experienced or a new bettor, deposit limits are always a good place to start. These ensure that you do not lose more than you want, and can be set daily, weekly and monthly.
Reality checks are also very useful. These will pop up based on a timer and will display how long you have played as well as the winnings/losses.
For new betting sites, customer support is of the utmost importance as users might run into issues, or simply have more questions than usual. Btegrouse could do with some improvement on this front, as customers only can get in touch via email. The support team is available from 8 am to 12 am (CET) seven days a week.
It is clear that a live chat would have enhanced the customer experience at Betgrouse, and the lack of one is unfortunately all too common among new betting sites. On the plus side, Betgrouse did at least state their support hours for the email, which many betting sites do not even bother with. There is also a Frequently Asked Questions page on which customers will be able to find most answers.
Once you have arrived on the home page, tap on the 'Join' button in the top right corner.
In the first step of the registration, you will be asked to fill in your email address, as well as preferred username and password. Once you have done that, tap on 'Next'.
In the final step of the registration, you will be asked to fill in your personal details, such as your full name and home address. You will also have to opt in/out of marketing messages, as well as accept the terms and conditions.
After completing the registration, you will need to provide documents to verify your identity. You need to do this before you can make a deposit, so there is no getting around it. You will also be prompted to do it immediately after signing up, and all the instructions you need will be provided.

Betgrouse is a new betting site on the market and while it has a strong backing, in the form of operator AG Communications, the site is nothing to brag about. It features a decent design and relatively easy navigation, while there are also a good amount of payment methods available.
However, promotions are lacking overall and the sportsbook could do with additional markets. Not to mention the lack of customer support, although email might be enough for some customers. In short, Betgrouse cannot compete with the big betting sites.
