Arsenal are now the Premier League champions and the battle to avoid relegation is to be decided on the final day of the season. This and more in the latest PL recap.
Playing on Monday night, Arsenal knew that a win against Burnley would be all but enough for them to win the league title and they did that. It wasn't pretty, but they got three points and it all went to Manchester City.
So, on Tuesday night, it went to the Citizens, with them needing a win to take the title fight to the final day.
However, they were only able to draw and even then, it wasn't a case of them looking likely to win. Bournemouth scored early on and Erling Haaland equalised at the death, crowning Arsenal as champions.
Celebrations went into the night in North London and now questions will be asked of Mikel Arteta and how he plans to compete again next season!
After their emphatic victory over Liverpool, Aston Villa are firm favourites to secure the final top-four spot. Morgan Rogers opened the scoring, then an Ollie Watkins brace came before a sweet John McGinn strike, which saw Villa win 4-2.
The win saw Villa’s price fall to 4/7 to finish in the top four, while Liverpool's rose to 11/8.
West Ham are still in the battle for survival despite falling to defeat at St James' Park on Sunday. Will Osula stole the show as he put the Hammers to the sword, and had Spurs got a result at Stamford Bridge, their relegation would have been all but confirmed.
West Ham remain favourites for the drop at 1/6 but are still in with a fighting chance going into the final match this weekend.
Spurs' 2-1 loss to Chelsea was hugely disappointing for boss Roberto De Zerbi. Spurs have historically struggled at Stamford Bridge, so any positive result there would've virtually confirmed their PL status for next season.
Instead, they host Everton on Sunday, when they'll need at least a point to make sure of their top-flight survival.
West Ham host Leeds, who need a win to have any chance of survival. If they do win, Spurs need just a point against Everton to stay up. It's set up to be a huge weekend, as relegation would be catastrophic for both sides.
Spurs are now priced at 9/2 to be relegated.
