Ben Dixon is here to give his free betting tips and predictions for Saturday's English Football fixtures.
Last week was our worst set of tips, with a poor 1/5 landing. Unfortunately, this means we have just under a 50% strike rate for the first time this season (14/30). Let's get that record back in the positives!
Without further ado, let's dive in!
I'm using our BTTS Cheat Sheet mainly here, but I think this looks like a great price. The Championship is tough to call this weekend, which is why I've tried to go for the goal angle and it looks like an attractive route in.
Stoke and Bolton have averaged more than three goals per game this season so far, and it's not a case of standout attacks or defences. Instead, they're two middle-tier teams with inconsistencies and I think that targeting goals here is the way.
Sometimes it's as simple as just looking at form and it doesn't take much to see that Blackpool are struggling right now. They've lost three of their last four League One games, conceding 11 goals in this period.
Now, Cambridge aren't exactly massive goalscorers, but they're consistent. They've scored in every League One game so far this season and whilst they're a little shaky at the back, they've picked up some good results recently, which sways me to pick them.
I'm going back to goals here and I think this could be a goalfest, with both standing out in the 92 for their goals-per-game ratios. So far, Wycombe have seen an average of 3.63 per game, bettered by Luton's 3.71 average, but that's not the point.
Instead, you've got two teams who keep being seen in high-scoring fixtures and it's no surprise that this game is priced like one that'll have goals. Despite that, I still think we're getting a pretty nice price.
Finally, we're heading to League Two, where I think Chesterfield will beat Crawley with a few goals being scored. So far this season, the hosts have conceded almost two per game. As a result, they're one of the favourites for relegation.
Chesterfield, then, will be looking at this fixture and hoping that they can start making waves in the promotion race. They've teased it in recent years, but fallen short regularly, often stumbling at games like this one. Nevertheless, I'd struggle to see them not handing Crawley a sixth loss of the season.
If you wish to back Ben's tips in an accumulator this week, you can do so at Bet365 with odds of around 27/1. Taking advantage of the early payout, we cannot complain at this price.
