Saturday's Free Football Betting Tips & Predictions (September 19)

• Everton to Win - 5/6 at Betway

My first selection of the week, as always, comes in the Premier League and I think Everton will beat Ipswich. Now, the Blues are an interesting side because they always feel quite underrated.

They're unbeaten so far this season and whilst they've drawn three on the bounce, they've not exactly had easy fixtures - Bournemouth (away), Manchester United (home) and Tottenham (away).

Ipswich are not at the same level as those opponents, so Everton could and should well pick up an easy three points. If they do, there's maybe a conversation to have about them in a top six setting...

• QPR to Win - 4/5 at Betfred

I'm going for two in the Championship this weekend, and my first comes in London, where QPR host a struggling Preston side. Now, I know it's a risk taking on a side who have just sacked their manager.

However, Jason Euell has never managed a professional game and he's facing a QPR side who look like they could threaten for promotion this season. It feels like a horrible game to take charge of for your first game and I think the R's should be taking three points here.

• Southampton to Win - 11/8 at Coral

I was really surprised to see Southampton above Evens against Wrexham, but I'll not complain. Since their blip on the opening day, the Saints have been spectacular, picking up 14 points - the joint most of anyone in the division.

They travel to face a Wrexham side that haven't really hit the ground running, winning just one of their opening seven and drawing four times. It's a worry. Southampton did the double over Wrexham, too, last season.

This just feels like a bit of a gift price-wise.

• Huddersfield to Win - 8/13 at Betfred

I've tipped Huddersfield a few times this season and I can't see myself stopping any time soon, especially at this sort of price. After two draws in their last two, they face a Bromley side who have not managed to keep goals out so far this season, conceding 17 in six.

The Terriers, on the other hand, have shown no issues scoring with 10 so far and this could be a real chance to make a statement away from home. There's a gap in quality between the sides, as the table shows, and I expect that'll be seen on Saturday.

It's my lowest-priced selection - even across the best football bookmakers, too - at 4/7 or 8/13, but I cannot overlook it.

• Both Teams to Score - 8/11 at Bet365

Rounding it off with my League Two selection, I think there are a couple of win prices that look a little big. However, I think the odds for this selection are pretty great for a game between two struggling sides.

Both teams have won just one of their opening six games this season and it's largely due to their inability to stop conceding goals. With averages of 3.83 and 3.50 goals per game, partnered with 83% and 66% BTTS records, this looks a cracking price.
