Ben Dixon is here to give his free betting tips and predictions for Saturday's English Football fixtures.
Last week was a solid set of tips, with 3/5 landing (above Evens) meaning we have just over a 50% strike rate this season (8/15). So, we're looking to raise the level here and make even more profit.
Without further ado, let's dive in!
For my first tip, I'm again straying away from the win markets in the Premier League. It's, perhaps, a little more risky, but I think we're looking at another week where the games could go either way. So, I'm covering that.
Last week, we saw BTTS land in Bournemouth vs. Everton, but we were a goal away. So, I'm trying the same idea this week.
Brighton have seen 5.5 goals per game in their first two games this season - a truly remarkable thing in itself - whilst Leeds have seen only 1.5 goals per game. I think there could be plenty of goals here, so think we might get a nice price here.
I was quite big on Millwall before the season started and they kicked off strongly, but their past two games have been a little disappointing, dropping points against Wrexham and Southampton. However, I think they've been presented with a chance to bounce back at home to Bolton.
The Whites aren't the best side in the division, and Millwall have won three of their last four games at home. So, I've got confidence in them here.
As I said for my Premier League tip, it's a difficult 1X2 week in League One, too. So picking a winner isn't that attractive to me here. Though, I'd still like to get another winning selection!
So, I'm looking at the goals market and dropping below Evens for the first time this week and taking Over 2.5 goals in this game. Between them this season, they've seen a staggering 8.5 goals per game in only four fixtures - that's ridiculous.
As a result, I think this could be a goal fest and I'm happy to go for a goals targeted bet here, using the stats from our Both Teams to Score spreadsheet!
For the second and final time in this set of selections, we're dipping under Evens again, with Barnet to Win or Draw away to Chesterfield. You possibly could go for a straight win here, but I'd like a little bit of insurance.
So far this season, Barnet have shown themselves to be one of the better teams in League Two, but two draws in their past two games are enough to put me off backing them to win at 9/4 with the best football bookmakers.
Chesterfield, on the other hand, have been somewhat of a mixed bag. So, I'm happy to be a bit cautious with them, too. So, this bet suits in my eyes.
Finally, I've returned to the same formula in my last tip as I used for my first. Again, I'm using our BTTS & goals cheat sheet for a bit of assistance, too.
In their opening games this season, Bristol Rovers have seen 4.25 goals per game, with BTTS landing in half. Rotherham, on the other hand, have a slightly lower 3.00 goals per game average. However, they have seen BTTS land in all four of their fixtures.
As a result, I think things work out pretty nicely here for us and I wouldn't be surprised if there are plenty of goals!
If you wish to back Ben's tips in an acca, you can do so at Sky Bet with odds of 21.54/1. It's a pretty solid price, certainly, and you get Early Payout on the Millwall selection.
