PlayWins is a sportsbook and casino that is operated as a white-label offering under the guidance of Anakatech Interactive Limited. Formerly falling under AG Communications Limited, it is fair to say the site has been through a transition.
In this review, we put the site to the test by signing up, verifying our account, depositing real money, placing bets and withdrawing funds.
Our unique BL Score also combines real user tests from Trustpilot, app stores and the editorial team to give a full, honest look at PlayWins.

If we were giving a broad-brush assessment of PlayWins, we'd put it in the average category, and quite comfortably too. That isn't necessarily a bad thing either, with some elements of the site stronger than others; the specifics of what you look for in an operator will definitely come into play.
From a casino perspective, the game library could be deeper but the layout and design of the lobby is up there with the better casino operators. The absence of a really good filter tool is a miss, though.
On the sports side, the betting margins are somewhat "meh", without being overly harsh. But the structure, event coverage and market depths are all positives to call out. Our withdrawal time test was good too, with our funds returning in just under an hour; that isn't market leading but it's still pretty swift!
All in all, we think PlayWins is worth giving more of your time to.
PlayWins is owned by UK-registered DirectBE Ltd (09706823), but has been registered to the UK Gambling Commission twice. First, it was administered by AG Communications Limited (UKGC 39483), but that has changed now with Anakatech Interactive Limited (UKGC: 48789) pulling the strings.
The Altenar sportsbook certainly helps give PlayWins some oomph as it looks to make strides into the market, and with Anakatech boasting nearly a decade's worth of experience and 10 different sister sites in this space, there is little reason to doubt PlayWins delivering to, at least, a decent minimum standard.
Our PlayWins review will highlight the good and not so good, leaving you informed to take your next step.
PlayWins is very much a trusted and legitimate site for sports and casino bettor. It is registered under the UK Gambling Commission courtesy of its relationship with Anakatech Interactive Limited (UKGC: 48789).
Anakatech has a sizeable footprint in the UK market, overseeing 10 different domains. Any activity you undertake with PlayWins will be managed in a compliant manner, meaning you can rest easy.
With PlayWins in a state of infancy, there is currently no Trustpilot rating to bring you. That doesn't mean we're completely blind to the sort of offering customers think you will receive. That is due to the other sites operated by Anakatech.
Two of the bigger brands under its umbrella are LuckyMate and Winomania. They score at 2.0 and 2.4 out of 5.00 respectively. Those scores aren't amazing at first glance but stand them up against some of the bigger brand names in the industry and they're not half bad; they outperform the 1.2 that Ladbrokes earns, for instance.
PlayWins and the wider Anakatech Interactive company both boast a clean bill of health where regulatory actions from the UK Gambling Commission are concerned.
PlayWins doesn't have the most extensive list of payment options we've ever seen, but it does offer a few different methods. It means the platform is accessible to the majority of punters.
Your options, which all come with a deposit range of between £10 and £5,000, cover Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Instant Bank Transfers. Really, it is just a shame there isn't an e-wallet or two offered, especially since PayPal remains a popular choice.
We have been able to validate the PlayWins deposit process too, with our funds credited to our account instantly after confirming our desire to fund our account.
| Payment Method | Min Deposit | Max Deposit | Deposit Fee | Processing Time | Triggers Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | £10 | £5,000 | No fee | Instant | |
Mastercard | £10 | £5,000 | No fee | Instant | |
| Apple Pay | £10 | £5,000 | No fee | Instant | |
Google Pay | £10 | £5,000 | No fee | Instant | |
Instant Bank Transfer | £10 | £5,000 | No fee | Instant |
The PlayWins deposit process is not a taxing one, but you might still benefit from our step-by-step guide when making your first deposit:
Ensuring you are logged into your PlayWins account, click on the account balance in the top right corner. This will bring up a dropdown box. From there, hit the yellow "Deposit" button.
You will be presented with a range of deposit methods. Click on the method you wish to use.
Use one of the quick-reference buttons that run across the top of the screen or the "Other" button to populate a deposit amount.
Underneath that, input the relevant payment details.
Keep in mind this section can look slightly different depending on the method you chose in the previous step.
When done, and providing you do agree to the terms stated, tick the "I understand" box. Now, hit "Deposit".
Your PlayWins withdrawal methods mirror those of your previous deposits. In theory, however, that means it could process withdrawals through debit card, instant bank transfer and Apple Pay.
You might not see all of these options when you're withdrawing your funds, though, as UKGC regulations require you to withdraw at least the same amount to the same method.
The minimum withdrawal amount of £10 is palatable and the speed of processing isn't too shabby either; our withdrawal test completed in under 1 hour. We have registered faster test results, but again, one hour is by no means terrible.
| Payment Method | Min Withdrawal | Max Withdrawal | Withdrawal Fee | Withdrawal Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | £10 | Not specified | No fee | 59 minutes in our test |
Mastercard | £10 | Not specified | No fee | Within 5 business days |
| Apple Pay | £10 | Not specified | No fee | Within 24 hours |
Google Pay | £10 | Not specified | No fee | Within 24 hours |
Instant Bank Transfer | £10 | Not specified | No fee | Within 24 hours |
Sooner or later, hopefully, you will find yourself in the position to withdraw finds from PlayWins. If you do, the process is detailed below:
Ensuring you are logged into your PlayWins account, click on the icon located in the top right corner.
From the menu, click on the "Withdrawal" button.
You will now see your available withdrawal methods; choose the method you wish to use by clicking on it.
There will be an "Amount" box at the top of the screen. Enter your desired withdrawal amount in this box and, when done, click on the yellow "Withdraw" button.
There is plenty to like about the PlayWins sportsbook. It starts with the colour scheme, which is a combination of navy blues and yellow. They contrast really well together, making the site both easily readable and good looking from an aesthetics angle. Those factors then feed into the broader point of sportsbook navigation.
You have a two-layered navigation panel. The top part of this offers three options, namely a homepage, a dedicated in-play section and a search function. Under that, you have a scroller bar containing icons that represent the sports that are offered at PlayWins.
On that subject, there are in excess of 30 sports offered. They range from lesser-publicised sports like Futsal and Aussie Rules all the way through to the "big markets" of the UK, which are football and horse racing.
Horse racing lives in a dedicated “Racing” section of the sportsbook, where it sits alongside greyhounds. Both of those sports betting events and markets are structured in the same way. You’ve got a dedicated “Next to go” area on the page, alongside a separate panel that allows you to easily browse by the country in which an event is taking place. That’s important with race meets covered around the world.
A further perk is the presence of live streaming, although it is only available on some events. That remains true of the coverage in the world of football too. Competitions are available from every corner of the globe where football betting is concerned, however, the structure of the page is different. This is standard with different sports calling on different layouts, but there is a huge amount of consistency in the design.
Popular categories are available to browse at the top of the page, such as “Today matches” and “Top Leagues” and then you get into your main betting form section. You can toggle this a few ways but the main callouts are the ability to change the default market and the fact you can easily see where prices are changing. This is courtesy of coloured tabs featuring within the odds buttons.
When it comes to drilling into a specific event, things remain easy on the eye, with odds and menu options presented in the same way; the ability to toggle between scrollbars and listed odds is a particularly nice touch. It’s helpful too because there are in excess of a couple of hundred markets available to bet on, so it’s nice to be able to adapt your view.
Betting margins come in at 7.88%. That’s a little on the high side, but not outrageous.
The PlayWins casino is split into two parts - a traditional online casino and a live casino. Both are accessible from the ever-present bottom ribbon and both are laid out, navigated and designed in the same way.
With that said, we'll start on the casino design. It's a good place to start too because we really like it. You have a section dedicated to promotions at the top of the page but quickly get into the game lobby.
This is headed by a search and filter bar. The filter is limited to provider, so could be better but you do have a text search function too. Beneath that, you have a scroll bar that allows you to narrow down your game lobby by game type.
That's pretty handy when you've got close to 2,000 titles to explore, with well over 100 of those sitting in the live casino.
When you then get to the lobby itself, it is excellent. There is a "top picks" section where PlayWins have opted to move away from the more traditional square tiles, which looks really smart.
Then, under that, there are more commonly seen tiles with curved corners. These are large in size, easy to read and simple to interact with. It all comes together for a super modern look and feel.
Having an on-the-go format is so important in 2026, and the PlayWins mobile app delivers that, but only for iOS users. That instantly means it cannot compete with the best betting apps available.
With an app size of just 42.5MB, it is not a huge drain on device storage and it comes highly rated by its users; it scored 4.4 out of 5.00 on the App Store, from 115 ratings.
We can see why too. Everything on the app is smooth, buttons are responsive and the design is fine. Does it really change the world from the mobile browser site? Probably not, but the ability to configure push notifications is something in its favour.
If we were going to nitpick, we'd bemoan the fact that the PlayWins Responsible Gambling section is spread across two different areas; one is under the main burger menu, whilst the other is accessed via your account options.
If you can look beyond that, however, the offering PlayWins provides is really good. The burger menu route takes you into a more explanatory section; expect to find explanations of what problem gambling can look like and understand what tools are available.
If you head into the account menu, you can configure the below tools. It's easy too, with all of those options available to have rules configured against them in the same place. The available options are:
The PlayWins customer support offering is solid, but not necessarily all that self-explanatory. Most notable is the chat icon that floats on the site, towards the bottom right corner. Clicking on this takes you into a landing page that looks a lot like an FAQ section but, actually, each button just takes you into a live chat instance.
There is an actual FAQ section that is accessible from the site footer. It's not that easy to find but it is good. The FAQ is detailed and well-structured making for easy navigation and searching.
Then you have the main live chat, which is operated by humans. That is excellent news in a world where most chat functions are bot-driven. We found the response times to be swift and answers detailed.
The customer service doesn't score top marks, though. Live chat is not operational 24/7, running between 08:00 and 23:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 21:00 at weekends. Also, whilst email contact is a possibility, there is no phone support available.
