Mr Luck is part of the Aspire Global (AG) network, giving it over 20 sister sites to choose from, all run under the same AG Communications Limited license.
While this opens the door to a wide selection of similar betting experiences, it also means you will encounter some common issues across the network such as:
Although a few AG brands offer an okay betting experience, more AG sites currently sit on our blacklist than our recommended list, due to the issues above in our own testing, and a high number of complaints from real players.
Still, if you are curious about Mr Luck's sister sites, we have listed some brands below that we currently recommend.
Mr Luck has been a brand name in the online sports betting space for a while but really came to the fore in 2024 when undergoing a relaunch under the sizeable AG Communications Limited (UKGC: 39483).
AG Communications, or Aspire Global as they are also known, offer a huge library of sites in the industry. Typically, this sees a white-label platform being rinsed and repeated but with minor tweaks each time.
Here we assess just some of the Mr Luck sister sites to see how those small adjustments enhance the available alternatives, if at all.
The general vibe at Mr Luck is one that is best defined by the phrase “rank average”. The casino operation is probably the strongest area it's offering with big brand names, good game variation and an intuitive navigation all scoring points.
The site also benefits from a good range of payment options and timely withdrawal speeds.
As we step into the negatives, we give with one hand and take away with the other because the withdrawal process is also one of the criticisms we hold over Mr Luck as withdrawal fees are charged.
The other standout negative is a sports betting margin of 8.51%, which is simply too high not to highlight.
With Mr Luck clearly far from perfect but having a few things going for it, we take a look at some of the sister sites to see if those positives are purely good fortune (wink, wink) or part of a well-structured plan.
Despite the old-school football formation reference in its brand name, Bet442 does have more strings to its bow than just a good football offering.
It is one of the areas where it excels though with over 300 markets offered on top-level football matches. Generally, the sportsbook and casino operation are big positives for the site.
Similarly to Mr Luck itself though, the betting margins are a blackmark against the sports offering coming in at close to 9% in our tests.
Combine that weak betting margin with a lacking customer support and, again, withdrawal charges and it is, once again, average at best as a holistic offer.
Betiton is another sister site but the look and feel of the site doesn’t hit quite the same way. On the soft side, the colour scheme doesn’t work for us but, more crucially, loading speeds can be problematic too with some evidence of loading failures too.
Unfortunately, it isn’t the last of the issues either. Betting margins of 10.52% are truly appalling, and whilst there are no withdrawal fees here, you do get charged for deposits, which is arguably worse.
That is a fairly scathing review in a nutshell. There are some things that a worth highlighting on the positive side for Betiton too, though, which is to be expected with a big player like AG Communications behind it.
Those pros are largely limited to significant market depths and a vast array of payment options.
Unlike other Mr Luck sister sites we have referenced here, there is some good news at ZetBet in that you won’t encounter withdrawal or deposit fees.
This isn’t exactly a positive, but is a notable difference and puts it ahead of a lot of other sites operated by Aspire Global sites.
It also benefits from the extensive casino and sportsbook offering we have frequently touched on.
Unfortunately, whilst ZetBet measures up quite well comparatively, it isn’t flaw-free.
Loading times, navigation quirks and a dated look and feel are all significant problems. Betting margins of 8.78% is another mark in the negative column.
