How long does it really take to withdraw from FanTeam in the UK? In our real money test, we received the funds instantly when using a Visa debit card.
This guide covers our full withdrawal time results, step-by-step process, and tips to help you get your money out of FanTeam as quickly as possible.
FanTeam has been around for a while with its fantasy-betting solution, but fairly recently, the site added a traditional sportsbook to widen the scope. Still, it's not among the best betting sites and the withdrawal situation actually plays a part in that.
While there are quite a lot of methods to choose from, also for the deposits, a 4.95% fee is applied to all of the e-wallets. That is pretty substantial and something we rarely come across. When we do, it usually tends to be with a churn-and-burn bookies, so this was a bit of a surprise.
Below, we have compiled everything you need to know about withdrawing funds at FanTeam, from the available payment methods to the minimum withdrawal amounts for each.
| Payment Method | Min Withdrawal | Max Withdrawal | Withdrawal Fee | Withdrawal Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | £10 | Unspecified | No fee | Instant in our test |
Mastercard | £10 | Unspecified | No fee | 1-3 business days |
PayPal | £10 | Unspecified | 4.95% (max £20) | 1-3 business days |
Neteller | £10 | Unspecified | 4.95% (max £20) | 1-3 business days |
Skrill | £10 | Unspecified | 4.95% (max £20) | 1-3 business days |
Trustly | £10 | Unspecified | 4.95% (max £20) | 1-3 business days |
We tested the withdrawal time at FanTeam and we were blown away by the test result, as our request with a Visa debit card hit the bank account instantly. We have to assume that this is faster than the e-wallets and that is a saving grace for FanTeam.
Normally, if debit cards were slow, you could turn to e-wallets but that is not ideal at FanTeam due to the 4.95% withdrawal fee. As such, if you tend to use e-wallets when betting, there are several good options available for PayPal, for example.
We gave FanTeam a three-star rating in our review and the withdrawal time certainly gives it a boost. Saying that, though, the fact that you have to pay a fee on withdrawals is abysmal.
If you haven't withdrawn money from FanTeam before, you can follow our step-by-step guide below.
When you are ready to withdraw your funds, simply head to the 'Cashier' menu and then tap 'Withdraw'.
The next step is a slightly strange one, and one that we have not encountered before. When attempting to withdraw the funds, we were asked to provide proof that we actually possessed the withdrawal method.
So, you will need to provide that here. If you cannot, you will not be able to withdraw.
Whilst a list of payment methods is offered, you must use a verified method to withdraw funds. So select this option here, then enter the payment amount, which in our case was the minimum of £10.
Finally, you must request the withdrawal and wait for the money. However, we were not left waiting long. In fact, no sooner had we requested it than we received the money in our account, as can be seen in the screenshot.
