BetSteve
BetSteve UK Review (2022)
BetSteve is a new betting site that is operated from Malta and was founded in 2019. BetSteve is a legal and licensed gambling site, and they hold valid licenses from the UKGC and MGA. You will find a sportsbook and casino on BetSteve, but we are only reviewing the sports section.
We could not find any information about the “real” owners of BetSteve, but they are operated by Progress Play Limited.
BetSteve Sign Up Bonus
BetSteve is currently running a “deposit £10 get £10” sign up bonus for new customers, but it comes with terrible terms and conditions. Players will need to wager the bonus 10x to unlock the funds for withdrawals, and the winnings are capped at just £20.
It is rare to see a welcome offer this poor, and instead, recommend checking out our list of £1500+ in betting offers and bonuses that offer much better value.
Sports & Betting Markets
BetSteve has over 40 sports to bet on, but they do not have any horse racing or greyhounds available.
However, in sports they do offer, you will find a wide range of betting markets, especially football.
Popular leagues such as the Premier League, Serie A, etc, boast 300+ betting markets to choose from.
You may recognise yourself if you have played on VStarBet, as both utilise the same design. If not, it may take some time to get used to the layout here. It is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is quite different from most of the popular bookmakers in the UK.
In our betting margins test, BetSteve averaged a margin of 5.56% which is offering lower margins and higher odds than most UK betting sites.
Live Betting & Streaming
There is a live streaming option on BetSteve, but we are yet to see any games feature in this section.
As for the live betting product, you customise your design with five different variations, Event View, Dashboard, Live Overview, Live Multiview, and the Live Calendar.
Play around and see which design you prefer for both live betting and pre-match bets.
The in-play betting margins are slightly higher than the pre-match (usually the case) but still lower than most of the more established bookmakers on BettingLounge.
BetSteve’s Customer Support
BetSteve does not offer 24/7 customer support, and the opening hours are not great. We expect all bookmakers to provide a 24/7 customer service, and we hope BetSteve adds one soon.
But, we did get through to a live chat agent almost immediately and found them to be helpful, quick, and polite.

BetSteve Conclusion
In conclusion, BetSteve entices you in with an easy to get first deposit offer, but the wagering requirements are quite high. We do like the customisation options throughout the sportsbook, and the low betting margins can provide value compared to other bookmakers in the UK.
But, we do not like the limited customer support, and there is a withdrawal fee of £2.50 (to cover transaction costs) for each withdrawal. We have not seen any bookies charge for withdrawals in some time, and it is a shame to see this on BetSteve.
Instead, we recommend looking at our list of trusted UK betting sites while taking advantage of our list of free bets and sign up offers worth over £2000.
Okey site but way too much is happening and it’s both messy and hard to keep track of all the games stats that’s going on. If they clean up their tables and get a better structure i might be more inclined to come back and use BetSteve
It can be slow at times but five stars for the fact that they haven’t limited me yet like the other bookies.
Just took the bonus. Works fine
Avoid at all costs. Tried to withdraw 320 quid. Was refused and had to create a PayPal account for them to pay in to. Lost money thru fees etc. Terrible experience terrible customer service and they make everything so difficult and complicated.
I agree with the person above, not a good experience with withdrawing my money…
Appalling i deposited £300 and they went and duplicated the £300 by claiming an additional £300 which meant they took £600 out of my bank account im now in debt via charges
Just received a promotion deposit 100 for 50 free bet. Wagering requirements 10 x. Maximum return is 20 euro. Don’t know how these firms should be able to operate
OK it took them a while but they accept most payment methods now, platform is a bit of a mess but odds are worth it
They just ignore the withdrawals, this is actually criminal. Avoid like the plague.
