Who Owns Bet St George?
Bet St George is owned and operated by a company conveniently named Bet St George Ltd, as per the UKGC information, but there is more to the story. In fact, the parent company is called BresCorp and also owns the Playbook Gaming-powered site BresBet.
This isn't exactly a secret as Nic Brereton is the founder of both brands, though the similarities between them are pretty much the same as with the other Playbook sites. In that sense, it will be interesting to see if Bet St George will be able to carve out its own space.
What Are the Bet St George Pros and Cons?
Since the site is still so new, one of the newest bookies at the time of writing, it's somewhat difficult to identify nuanced pros and cons. What I can say, however, is that Bet St George has been given a proper headstart thanks to the partnership with Playbook Gaming.
We have said it many times before, but that platform ensures a certain quality in terms of markets offered and speed, which are the most important things. Bet St George has also done a good job of stocking up with a few promotions already.
As for the cons, the site doesn't really stand out from its sisters so far, though this could definitely be because of the recent launch. It seems there is a lack of payment methods too, with only debit cards accepted at the time of writing.

It feels like a given to mention BresBet first, seeing as the site is owned by the same parent company as Bet St George, namely BresCorp. There are similarities because of that, but as we mentioned earlier, you will find a lot of similarities between the Playbook sites regardless of the ownership.
BresBet is definitely more developed than Bet St George, if we can use that word, with multiple promotions for new and existing customers, an app to download, and more payment methods. This is perhaps something that Bet St George will become eventually.
We definitely prefer the colour scheme of BresBet too as the colours are easier on the eye, although the overall layout is actually the same. Anyway, if you want a more polished version, then you should consider joining the site.
BestOdds
Continuing with another new site under the Playbook umbrella, we have opted for BestOdds. You have to say that the bookie has absolutely nailed the brand here; after all, who doesn't want the best odds available when placing bets? Of course, it also comes with heavy expectations.
The site has a very nice design, with a clear structure and a colour scheme that really suits the mood, and it doesn't exactly look new when you assess the promotions. They really stand out, both in terms of the welcome offers and the various boosts.

StarSports

The design is very similar to the others, but here you have the benefit of downloading an app instead of using the browser version. The customer support is also better with a telephone number and more options in general, which is never a bad thing.
