Eberechi Eze Next Club Odds: After Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace aren’t a club that does particularly well at holding on to their talents, with numerous examples of their best players having left over the years.

Last season it was Michael Olise and he’s lit up the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. This summer it could well be someone else; here we assess Eberechi Eze’s next club odds.

Is There Really No Place Like Home?

We’ve already referenced Eze’s former teammate Olise spreading his wings wide as he’s tackled a new country this year with German giants Bayern Munich but there is a much tighter geographical radius that encapsulates Eze’s career; including his youth days the 26-year-old has represented seven clubs throughout his career with the furthest he’s strayed from London being Reading.

With the general consensus that he’s outgrown Selhurst Park, will he be keen to stay in London, or will the lure of elsewhere will over? We look at Eberechi Eze’s next club odds.

  • Arsenal

Arsenal's season might end on a high courtesy of the Champions League but their domestic campaign has largely fallen apart due to a lack of goals and a lack of creativity that has all been underpinned by injuries and challenges on their squad depth. The addition of a player like Eberechi Eze would contribute to ending all of those issues.

The Palace man has enjoyed a prolific season in 2024/25 with nine goals and 11 assists across all competitions. That's an impressive haul from 37 games at a goal contribution every other appearance.

With Eze's links to London, a price tag that is unlikely to be bonkers and a connection to the Gunners courtesy of starting his footballing journey there as a kid and you can quickly make a case for this being an option for both parties.

  • Tottenham

As alluded to already, Eze started his career at Arsenal but that hasn't prevented Tottenham sniffing around him in the past. In fact, they've shown an interest in him as recently as last summer and it seems they could come enquiring again in the upcoming window.

Whether Ange Postecoglou stays in situ or not this summer, it feels inevitable that the Spurs squad is at a place where a bit of a reinvention is needed.

Eze could be a key part of that. With a price tag likely to be around the £50-60m mark, he's a player at the top end of where Spurs typically spend and we've seen this season how much a lack of depth has cost them.

With players like Richarlison, Son Heung Min and Timo Werner struggling for minutes and outputs this season, it's hardly a surprise that Tottenham are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements.

  • Man United

Man United are going to have a summer of overhaul this summer with a notable number of players likely to enter and exit Old Trafford. We already know there is a strong likelihood the attacking positions are probably the ones to be impacted the most, and that very quickly brings Eze’s name into the mix.

From an exit point of view, it’s not a wild leap to suggest that Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony all leave United this summer.

That not only means Ruben Amorim is left light from a quality perspective, but from a pure quantity angle too.

We know Matheus Cunha ranks highly on the United list, but he alone won’t replace those three aforementioned players. The acquisition of Eze on top of Cunha could be the starting blocks of a new dawn, though.

United have been known to do sizeable deals with Palace in the past too.
