Compare the best odds on the next Wolverhampton Wanderers manager after Vitor Pereira.
Vitor Pereira has not been at Wolves long, but he seems to be turning things around.
Appointed just before Christmas 2024, the Portuguese coach appears to be steering Wolves away from relegation danger, but the ex-Porto boss only signed an 18-month deal.
Wolves have struggled to find a long-term successor to Nuno Espirito Santo, whose four-year spell ended in 2021, so it is not impossible a replacement for Pereira will be needed soon.
While the next Wolves manager betting odds have not yet been published, here are some potential candidates to become the next boss in the Molineux dugout.
Taking the Leicester City job did not quite work out for Cooper but he remains highly-rated.
Tournament success with England's Under-17 side at the World Cup will keep the former Nottingham Forest and Swansea City manager's name in the running for Premier League work.
However, Cooper might prefer to take a Championship job and try to work his way back up.
Wolves seem to like Portuguese coaches and Carvalhal has some Premier League experience from his time in charge of Swansea City.
Fine work at West Brom earned Carvalhal a move to La Liga giants Valencia late in 2024, but he could be tempted by a Premier League return if the right job became available.
Ex-Manchester United boss Solskjaer was one of the favourites for the Wolves job after the departure of Gary O'Neil, before Pereira got the job.
Solskjaer was made the new head coach of Turkish giants Besiktas early in 2025, however.
Wolves have a history of Portuguese managers with Pereira, Nuno and Bruno Lage having all been in charge in the past decade.
Mourinho has openly flirted with the idea of a return to the Premier League but it seems unlikely that any of the elite clubs would be interested in the former Chelsea manager.
Wolves could be different, with the Portuguese connections potentially in Mourinho's favour.
Typically included in the next manager betting odds for any mid-ranking Premier League side, Knutsen has a highly impressive body of work at Bodø/Glimt, where he won the club's first title.
They have now been champions of Norway four times, with Knutsen named the Eliteserien Coach of the Year on three occasions: 2019, 2020 and 2021.
But it is still a thumping European win over Mourinho's Roma for which he is best known.
The Aberdeen boss was included in the next Wolves manager betting odds when O'Neil was fired, but that was back when the Dons were flying high and in red hot form in Scotland.
Aberdeen have since fallen away in the title race and Thelin's reputation has taken a hit.
Below is a list of the permanent and significant interim managers in the most relevant history of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
