Kobbie Mainoo Next Club Odds: 2025 Summer Window

Leading the Kobbie Mainoo next club odds is the generically worded "Any Italian Club" at 2/1. Juventus and Inter are both available as standalone bets at 4/1 and 5/1 respectively, which perhaps gives an indication of where this more widespread price is built from. 

There has been talk of Mainoo being keen on exploring his overseas opportunities too. With an England World Cup call far from impossible next year, it's imperative he goes somewhere that will provide him regular game time. Serie A could be a perfect fit. 

It's an Old Trafford escape route that could work well for all involved. United would avoid selling their young star to a league rival and Mainoo and his new club would be set to light things up; just look at the career trajectory Scott McTominay has enjoyed since swapping Manchester for Italy. It won't have gone unnoticed by those players still at United.

We've already expressed that Man United would probably rather do a deal with a side that isn't a direct rival to them but, at some point, needs must. That need to sell could well see Chelsea enter the race for Mainoo's signature. 

The Blues' recruitment policy is to sign young talents with high ceilings. That matches exactly what Mainoo is. What's more, it's almost a slam dunk for Chelsea in the long run because the youngster has already proven to be capable at Premier League level. 

On the downside, Chelsea are stacked in the middle of the park and Mainoo will want to go and play regular minutes. It's hard to see him getting that at Stamford Bridge right now; if you were in the player's camp, is it the best move for his career? We're not sure.

Aston Villa would have to overcome the same Premier League rival hurdle as Chelsea, albeit United probably perceive them as less of a long-term threat; we will let you be the judge of whether that's right or wrong. 

They would be able to offer him more in his development as a player though with Mainoo more likely to break into the Villa XI than at Chelsea. He's got a good sounding board for what the crack at Villa Park is too with teammate Marcus Rashford having spent time on loan there recently.

Throw in Man United's interest in Emi Martinez and there is certainly a door ajar for a conversation.

The "Any German Club" price is being heavily carried by Bayern Munich, who are a 7/1 standalone price. You could make a strong connection to Leverkusen too though if you wanted; they're not currently listed in the available odds meaning a handsome price could await. 

The German route has worked out superbly well for some young talents in recent years with Jude Bellingham the best example. Jamal Musiala is another who, although born in Germany, spent the bulk of his youth in English academies before joining Bayern from Chelsea. Closer to Mainoo’s home, Germany has proved kind to Jadon Sancho too.

With Vincent Kompany keen to add to his midfield options, the Harry Kane link and Leverkusen's manager now being Erik Ten Hag, you can see how this left-field route could unfold into something of note for Mainoo.
