France and Spain are two of the biggest heavyweights in international football and they will face off for a spot in the World Cup final.
The first semi-final of the World Cup is on Tuesday night and you would not be wrong to suggest that it should be the final. Indeed, this is most people's pre-tournament favourites facing off in a game early.
It is no surprise, then, that France and Spain remain the top two favourites in the World Cup Outright markets. This should be a corker of a game, we hope.
Of course, you can get the best prices using BettingLounge's price comparison tool on a match-by-match basis.
Below, you can find Ben's tips for France vs. Spain. The odds were correct at the time of writing.
There is a lot of hope for this game and it should be a real World Cup classic, especially after two mismatched quarter-finals. Belgium and Spain played out an interesting game, but the less said about France's win against Morocco, the better.
If this game goes like we hope it does, it should be an excellent watch and an even better betting game!
For what it's worth, any player tips will be backed with Sky Bet, thanks to the Super Sub promotion, as well as the Extra-Time payout. Better odds may be available elsewhere in 90 minutes...
France Predicted XI vs. Spain (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Kounde, Upamecano, Saliba, Digne; Kone, Rabiot; Dembele, Olise, Doue; Mbappe.
Spain Predicted XI vs. France (4-2-3-1): Simon; Porro, Cubarsi, Laporte, Cucurella; Rodri, Fabian; Yamal, Olmo, Baena; Oyarzabal
It is always a risk backing first-half markets, especially with your bets having the potential to die within the opening 45 minutes.
However, the stats look favourable in this case. Indeed, of the 30 goals both teams have seen during this tournament, 12 have been scored in the first half.
This game could certainly be lively and an early goal would be an aid.
I struggle to know what to expect from this game, in all honesty, match result-wise. However, I don't think Spain should be the price that they are.
At this moment, they have a 61.9% chance of winning or drawing the game, according to the bookmakers' odds and I'd argue that feels like incredible value.
Throughout the tournament, we have seen France's front line look fantastic and whilst Spain have a great backline, they could still struggle.
So, I've looked to the foul involvement markets, and the price of Pau Cubarsi stands out.
In his last four games, he's had six involvements and against a French attack which has had 34 foul involvements in four games, it looks appealing.
The shots market could certainly have a bit of value for us in this game, and I am looking at France again here. I think they'll be the main aggressors here, and the game should move in their favour.
Adrien Rabiot to have a shot is 1/2 with Sky Bet, and I think there are better value opportunities, such as for Lucas Digne, who is Evens.
The left-back has had two shots in his last three games and he is keen to shoot from range. If Spain lock it down defensively, they could well open a shooting opportunity for the Frenchman. Evens looks a bit of a gift.
Finally, I am tipping Dani Olmo to get a goal or an assist, and this is largely to do with his own quality, but also that of his expected substitute.
Indeed, he has created five shots in his last three games whilst also having seven shots of his own. For what it's worth, his sub from the last two games, Mikel Merino, has had two shots on target (two goals) and created a shot.
Virgin Bet are offering 12/5 for a goal or assist inside 90 minutes, with their VAR Payout, which I'd also be tempted by. However, I prefer the insurance of Extra Time personally.
