Ben Dixon is here to give his free betting tips and predictions for Saturday's English Football fixtures.
After landing five tips in his last batch of free Saturday selections, we are hoping for more success to end off the EFL seasons!
We're starting in the Premier League and we're going for a bit of an out there pick, certainly. Brighton to win away to Newcastle is our highest odds pick of the weekend, but I wouldn't let that deter you.
Newcastle haven't beaten Brighton in a competitive fixture since 2022, and with their recent form, you'd expect that to continue.
If the Seagulls want to get closer to confirming their European aspirations, a win at St. James' is a must. I think they'll do it.
It certainly feels like a bit of a risk to make a play in a nothing game on the final day, especially in an 'early kick-off'. However, I'm struggling to put myself off here.
Coventry will want to end their time in the Championship on a high and they certainly could do. Watford are expected to change managers again in the summer and it wouldn't surprise me if their players are already mentally checked out of the season.
With four defeats on the bounce already, Coventry could give them another and 1/1 is a lovely price for us.
Following the trend of backing nothing fixtures, I'm taking Lincoln to beat Port Vale. Both teams are already confirmed to be leaving League One at the end of the season, so there is nothing to play for.
However, the gap in quality should be big enough where 7/10 looks a nice price. Lincoln will want to wrap the league title up in style, adding to their already superb record.
Heading to League Two, I'm taking a punt on Grimsby to beat Tranmere away from home. The hosts form is dire, losing their last six games at Prenton Park.
However, this is not a recent thing. Indeed, they have only avoided defeat on nine occasions at home this season.
They are pretty much safe in League Two, so whilst a result would help, they are not in desperate need of it. I think the Mariners will be looking to head into the play-offs after another win. So, above Evens looks nice for a team that have won four of their last six away trips.
Finally, this is the big game in the promotion race and the odds are not great. However, I'd not expect them to be. Cambridge need a win to secure a place in the top three and an automatic return to League One.
So, the mission has to be that, there can be no excuses.
Considering the hosts have lost four of their last five and are conceding an average of 1.7 goals per game, I think the U's could wrap up their spot in the automatics.
