If you are a sports bettor who enjoys the occasional casino dabble, without much care for what goes on around the edges, then you will probably find Octobet to be quite the strong platform.
It puts good sports coverage in the palm of your hands, with huge market depths and decent margins, whilst the casino is large enough to give a variety of games without being too big to overwhelm.
There are some big challenges to flag too, though. The banking options are very limited, customer service is almost non-existent and the site does have some minor continuity issues from a design flow perspective.
Put it all together and you've got an alright platform, without pulling up any trees.

Octobet made its first moves into the betting market in 2024 but has shown itself to be highly adaptable, with a recent move onto the EveryMatrix platform; that is the same technology stack that drives brands such as BetTom and BetGoodwin, amongst others.

Whilst new, the brand is indeed registered to operate in the UK and is a trusted name under the UK Gambling Commission; this is a seal of approval for the site being deemed safe and proper.

On the surface a 2.1 out of 5 score is pretty lacklustre, however, there are two points to stress here.
Firstly, there are only a limited number of reviews conducted against the brand, which reduces the credibility of the rating awarded because of it being a small sample size. The other is that established names in the industry come up much worse than 2.1 out of 5. Ladbrokes, for example, scored just 1.2 stars.
It just goes to show that Trustpilot reviews can be an interesting angle to look at, but they're not necessarily a place to form deep, robust opinions.

Octobet Deposit Methods
Octobet is severely limited in the deposit options it offers its customers. Your only deposit method is through debit card, namely Visa, Mastercard and, the lesser-used Maestro card. The only positive to only offering one method is that it has at least opted for the most widely used option.
As for the minimum and maximum deposits, they're nothing to write home about. A minimum deposit of £10 isn't offensive but is also very much a middle-of-the-road level and it's a similar story with the £5,000 maximum deposit.
When you consider that some other brands boast a minimum deposit amount of just £1, you do wonder if Octobet might look to sharpen this area of its offering. That is pure speculation, however.

How to Deposit at Octobet

Click on "Deposit"
Once logged into your Octobet account, head to the site header bar and click on the green "Deposit" button. It is located in the top right corner.

Select Your Payment Method and Deposit Amount
Currently, the only deposit method at Octobet is debit card, which will be your default option when depositing funds. If there are changes to the available options, they will be added to a dropdown list on this page.
Underneath the deposit method, input your desired deposit amount.
Scroll down the page and ensure you tick the "terms provided" box, providing you are happy to proceed.
Once done, hit the "Make Deposit" button at the bottom of the page.

You will now see a pop-up window asking you to confirm your deposit. You do this by clicking the green button.

As with any card payment, you will now need to declare your payment details.
Once entered, hit the black "Pay" button, and you should see the funds instantly credited to your account.
Octobet Withdrawal Methods
Given what we say about the deposit methods, it will not come as a shock to learn that you can only withdraw funds to your debit card.
We should stress that industry practice is to only allow withdrawals to a previous deposit method too, so changes to the payment options won't massively change the withdrawal picture.
On a positive note, you can withdraw from £10 but, in a step change from the maximum deposit, you can withdraw up to £25,000 in any one transaction.
As for our withdrawal tests, we processed a £10 withdrawal at 23:50 on 14th April. The funds had arrived back at 08:37 the next day, which puts the withdrawal time for Visa at under nine hours. We have had quicker results but it is far from tragic.

How to Withdraw Funds From Octobet
With a stroke of luck, or a solid betting strategy, you will one day be looking to withdraw from Octobet. You can do so by following our step-by-step instructions:

Go to Your Account
Making sure you are first logged into your account, open up your account section using the head & shoulders icon, in the top right corner.

From your account menu, choose "Withdrawal", which should be visible in the top half of your screen.

Octobet Sportsbook
The Octobet sportsbook is a clean-looking platform, sitting on a dark grey background with a contrast between white and coloured menu icons, depending on which avenue you choose to navigate from.
You have a good number of sports offered, with 34 in total - including odds for political markets. Amongst those 34 options, you have the most-loved duo of football and horse racing all the way through to speedway, which bizarrely is the only sport to lack an icon on the menu, and eSports.
The events under those sports are impressive too. Take horse racing as a prime example; you've got race meets from around the globe to bet on, including in USA, Argentina, Japan and beyond, whilst there is a range of "Futures" offered as well.
It is a similar story in football as well, with matches from 90 different countries available to wager on. The market depths offered are pretty insane too, with a Premier League game boasting in excess of 750 markets, in some instances. As you might expect with that number of markets, there is a tidy bet builder tool as well.
That is not the end of the positives, though, with the general layout also impressive. The events and odds are laid out neatly, making them easy to read and simple to interact with. This is helped further by a dropdown option that allows you to the default market view.
In football, this gives you eight different front page views to pick from including 1X2 and Over/Under betting.
Smart design choices also extend into the specific event options. You can toggle between various screen formats, collapse and expand betting markets and, generally, manoeuvre with ease.
To really cap things off, the betting margin on offer is solid as well. It sits at 6.60%, which isn't market-leading but not bad.
Octobet Casino
The Octobet casino is presented in two parts - a traditional online casino and a live casino. Structurally, they're the same. The only real difference between the two spaces is the games - and game types - themselves.
On that design piece, it doesn't hit as hard as the sportsbook. You have the dark grey background but the scroller menu options here are smaller, framed in a green rectangle and, ultimately, inconsistent with the sports side of the platform.
That noted, everything works as it should when targeting specific game areas and navigating from A to B.
The slight "meh" nature of the design does leak into the game lobby as well, predominantly because the game tiles are much smaller than what most brands opt for nowadays. The short rectangular shape can be interacted with without too many issues, but the game names can be tough to read, which isn't great.
There is then a conversation to be had around game count and quality. All told, there are around 1,400 games offered with nearly a third of those coming out of the live casino. Amongst those games are well-known titles, with the likes of Pragmatic Play providing plenty behind the scenes.
Octobet Mobile App
Being established in 2024 and revamped in 2025, it is perhaps unsurprising that you can get an Octobet mobile app on both iOS and Android devices. It would be a major own goal not to offer one in 2026, especially as it looks to gain customer traction.
The app itself very closely resembles the mobile-friendly browser version but with the ability to get push notifications. That's not a bad thing either. The app works smoothly, buttons are responsive and it generally looks fairly decent too, albeit bookmaker designs are a fairly subjective topic.
Really, though, the bigger question is why wouldn't you use it? It doesn't have much in the way of App Store ratings but that's because the brand doesn't have huge market share but at just 10.2MB in size, it is a bit of a no-brainer to download it.

Octobet Responsible Gambling
The Octobet approach to Responsible Gambling is alright - nothing more, nothing less. You can access a comprehensive page on the subject through the site footer. There the detail provided is solid, if not perfect.
Our main criticism of the page comes from the fact you have a dedicated section on the page that is serving as a “problem gambling questionnaire”, but it’s buried in the main bulk of text and then formatted in a fairly unclear manner. Its existence, however, is a positive.
Then, just beneath that, comes the real head-scratcher. There are 15 sections covering a range of different safer gambling topics, which are bulleted, expandable and clear to drill into. The fact the questionnaire isn’t baked into that list does raise a question as to what attention has really been paid to the page in its entirety.
As for the tools actually available to you, there are a variety of support tools you can apply from your account, with each living under their own headings, as opposed to being categorised under a parent “Responsible Gambling” section. The tools at your disposal are:

Right, we pride our bookmaker reviews on the fact we don't pull any punches and where Octobet customer support is concerned, we need to lace up our gloves. It is really, really poor.
For starters, there isn't any notable FAQ page available on the platform, with the closest you get being jargon-filled pages of "betting rules". If that's annoying, the fact your can't actually reach out to anyone in the moment is appalling in 2026.
The dedicated "Contact Us" page is simply giving you a link to an email address. There is no telephone number and no live chat function. Quite frankly, we'd settle for an AI-bot heavy chat function - and they're a real frustration for us most of the time.
For a brand that is trying to make strides into a competitive marketplace it feels like they've really neglected their customers in this area.
