Monopoly Casino was founded in the mid-2010s and later added a sportsbook to broaden its prospects. However, has the move benefited players and punters?
In this review, we put the site to the test by signing up, verifying our account, depositing real money, placing bets and withdrawing funds.
Our unique BL Score also combines real user tests from Trustpilot, app stores and the editorial team to give a full, honest look at Monopoly Casino & Sports.

Thanks to the partnership between Gamesys and Kambi, Monopoly Casino & Sports is one of the better 'all-in-one' betting/casino products on the market.
With a vast array of football fixtures, slot games, horse racing courses and blackjack types available, there is a lot to like. Generally, there is a lot of value on offer, too.
However, it lacks some of the key elements to become a top sportsbook. Additionally, the deposits and withdrawals could certainly be improved. More methods are a must in 2026 and whilst a 90-minute withdrawal time is not bad, it can be improved.
Generally speaking, as a complete offering, it holds up well against some of the biggest brands - especially with the casino, where it ranks highly. Saying that, it needs a bit of general work before it competes with the likes of Bet365.

In the past 10 years, several well-known brands have launched their own casino or sports betting sites. As two examples, you have talkSPORT BET (partnered with BV Gaming) and Heart Radio Bingo.
However, Monopoly Casino was one of the first to dip its toes in. Indeed, the site was launched in 2016 by Hasbro and Gamesys and has since gone from strength to strength.
Just under 10 years later, the brands partnered with Kambi to add a sportsbook to the platform in 2025. A common move that we have seen recently, with more casinos open to offering a 'complete' product.
However, has the introduction of a sportsbook been successful and does it benefit the overall product? Well, that's what we wanted to see. In this review, we look at the sports and casino products, as well as the overall experience.
Given that the Monopoly brand name is synonymous with the board game for most people, you may have questions about whether it has actually launched a casino. However, it has all the relevant licensing from the UK's Gambling Commission.
Registered under the Gamesys Operations Limited brand (account number: 38905), it holds the license to operate as a casino and a sportsbook. In other words, yes, this brand is safe and legit.
There have been more than 600 Trustpilot reviews for Monopoly Casino & Sports and as we expected, they are not overly positive. Indeed, the site has a 1.5-star rating out of 5.
This is pretty common with casino sites, normally after players have lost or 'not been paid out'. It is worth a scroll of the comments to see what we mean in this regard.
There are more than 10 different casinos registered on the Gamesys license, and we'd hope to see no fines or regulatory actions taken. However, this is not the case here.
Unfortunately, the parent company was fined in 2023 for four breaches: three relating to Anti-Money Laundering and one for Social Responsibility Codes of Practice.
Given that the site has been in operation since 2016, we would have hoped to see an extensive list of options when depositing funds. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Instead, we were only offered two choices: Apple Pay and a debit card.
For what it is worth, these are two of the most common methods in the UK. Yet, it still leaves a lot to be desired. The lack of an e-wallet like PayPal is a bit frustrating too, as is the minimum deposit when you compare it with £5 bookies.
Below, we have collected everything you need to know about deposits at Monopoly Casino & Sports.
| Payment Method | Min Deposit | Max Deposit | Deposit Fee | Processing Time | Triggers Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | £10 | Unspecified | No fee | Instant | |
Mastercard | £10 | Unspecified | No fee | Instant | |
| Apple Pay | £10 | Unspecified | No fee | Instant |
Below, we have put together a step-by-step guide for adding funds to a Monopoly Casino & Sports account.
Depositing at Monopoly Casino & Sports is really simple. You will be prompted to make a first deposit initially. However, you can always tap the 'Deposit' option shown around the app.
As seen below, it is prominent in the top right corner of the screen.
Following this, you will be asked to choose a deposit method. Again, the options aren't spectacular and we chose to use a debit card.
Now you will need to enter the amount that you would like to deposit. Once done, simply tap on the 'Next' button at the bottom of the screen.
Finally, enter the payment details for your card and tap on deposit. If you are using Apple Pay, you can obviously bypass the card details step!
In some cases, you may have to verify the payment. However, it does not take long.
As you'd expect, the withdrawal process is limited to offering the same two methods, albeit with the caveat that you can only choose a method that you have previously used.
In terms of how long it takes to withdraw the funds, it is not too much of a redeeming factor. We received the money just over an hour and a half later; there are certainly quicker options, with many of our tests coming in at just a few minutes.
Below, we have collected everything you need to know about withdrawals at Monopoly Casino & Sports.
| Payment Method | Min Withdrawal | Max Withdrawal | Withdrawal Fee | Withdrawal Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | £10 | Unspecified | No fee | 95 minutes in our test |
Mastercard | £10 | Unspecified | No fee | Within 24 Hours |
| Apple Pay | £10 | Unspecified | No fee | Within 24 Hours |
If you are new to Monopoly Casino & Sports, or perhaps want to see the withdrawal process before signing up, you can take a look at our step-by-step guide below:
Located in a similar position to the 'Deposit' button, tap the 'Profile' icon to bring up the 'Shortcuts' area. Then tap 'Withdraw' to enter the cashier. Incredibly quick, it is worth saying.
After entering the cashier, you will be shown a list of available methods. Of course, you can only select a method which you have used previously. Here you also enter the withdrawal amount.
After confirming our request, we were left waiting 95 minutes in our test, which is certainly not the worst result. However, there are definitely better options on the market.
As we often see with casinos, a lot of focus is put into the casino section to achieve success, after which a sportsbook is added to broaden the horizons. That is exactly what happened with Monopoly Casino & Sports, which for nearly 10 years only had a casino.
The sportsbook is provided by Kambi, which also works with the likes of Virgin Bet (not the same as Virgin Games, by the way), LeoVegas, LiveScoreBet and so on.
Whilst the Kambi version on Monopoly Casino & Sports is nothing exemplary, it does a job and you know what you are getting: a good, solid sportsbook.
With more than 25 different sports available, there is more than enough for you to stake on. Additionally, the readily available E-Sports and 'Specials' markets allow for further punting.
The final piece of the nerdy betting review site stuff is that the betting margins average at around 5.88%. In other words, you are getting a lot of bang for your buck, compared to say Betfair, which operates with margins above 16% (!!).
Now, onto the fun stuff! Starting with football, the markets are perhaps a little difficult to navigate as the fixtures are a bit hard to scroll through. However, the depth cannot be questioned.
Indeed, there are more than 100 different countries represented in the leagues, including the English Premier League, the American MLS and many, many more.
The markets are well priced (thanks to the margins) and this remains the case when creating a Bet Builder, which is a decent experience. There are plenty of markets offered, but some of the best football betting sites have more available.
Unfortunately, the horse racing section could be a little better. There is a great range of fixtures available, but streaming is only offered for a few courses. Additionally, the markets are not expansive, with only 'Betting Without' standing out from the offerings.
A pretty decent sportsbook, certainly. However, there is definitely room for improvement if it wants to compete with the best bookies around.
Initially launched as a casino site, which was also the sole focus for almost 10 years, you would expect the Monopoly Casino area to be at a fantastic level. Indeed, we were not let down.
When you open up the app or the site, you are immediately presented with the casino and there is a lot to take in. Straight away, you are shown different game types, the promotions available and then a list of games too.
Whether it is Monopoly-themed games or classics from providers like Pragmatic Play or NetEnt, you will be sure to find a game for you. Indeed, the library at Monopoly Casino is more than extensive.
If you are struggling to find a game in the regular section, you can also use the filters or the search bar to locate what you are looking for or similar game types. For example, a search for 'Big Bass' brings up the official game, as well as other varieties like 'Big Catch Bass Fishing'.
We cannot allow the live casino to go under the radar either. Indeed, the section is equally impressive, with a range of different games and game types.
Whether you prefer 'Game Shows', 'Speed Games' or the classics like Blackjack or Roulette, it is all offered. Additionally, the search bar can be used again.
In other words, this is an exemplary casino section. Plenty of others could take note.
It is not a surprise to see that Monopoly Casino has a mobile app available on iOS and Android. Indeed, half of the sites that Gamesys Limited owns have a mobile app available.
In terms of the experience, we conducted most of the tests on our mobile and it was smooth throughout. Everything from making deposits to placing bets was quick and easy.
There were no faults either. The app did not crash, nor did it ever feel buggy. A really good sign.
A glance at its app profile shows that Gamesys Limited tweaks the app regularly, with more than 20 updates in the last six months. Furthermore, there have been months where the app has been updated a few times. Again, a positive.
As a result of this, it is no surprise that it is one of the best-reviewed apps on both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. With more than 24k reviews across both platforms, it has a rating of 4.7 stars out of five (a shared rating on both stores!).
It is very positive when it comes to the people reviewing the app and we can only echo that.
