Fast withdrawals are a necessity for most punters, and with Fitzdares, there can be no complaints. We wanted to test the withdrawal speed and did so on the bookmaker's app, withdrawing £10 (the minimum) with a Visa debit card - which is our standard procedure.
Due to the Visa Direct system, the money was in our bank account within 25 minutes, which is fantastic from the bookmaker (and better than some of its sister sites). Given debit cards are commonly a preferred method, seeing it be the fastest method available can be appreciated.
Anyone with a keen interest in horse racing, more so for those who attend racecourses, will know the Fitzdares brand. Founded in 1882, it is one of the staples of the horse racing industry and recently, it expanded its horizons with the betting app - one of the best for the sport of kings.
Traditionally, the bookmaker operated with a private telephone line service, and in 2020 a member's club in Mayfair was introduced to allow a luxury experience for punters - sticking with the brand of being 'the world's most high-end bookie'. However, the introduction of the app widened the horizons and allowed customers to get a 'high-end' experience from their fingertips.
Below, we have collected everything you need to know about withdrawing funds at Fitzdares, from the payment methods available to the minimum withdrawal amount for each.
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Max. Limit | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |
---|---|---|---|---|
Visa | £10 | Not specified | No fee | 25 minutes in our test |
Mastercard | £10 | Not specified | No fee | 1-3 business days |
Apple Pay | £10 | Not specified | No fee | 1-3 business days |
Customers of Fitzdares will be happy to see that debit cards are the fastest withdrawal method, given it is the most commonly used banking method. However, this comes with the caveat of it only being the case for Visa debit card holders, due to the usage of Visa Direct.
Whilst the minimum deposit on Fitzdares is £10, this is rather expected with its services being advertised as a more 'premium', so the elevated minimum deposit is understandable. Perhaps, it could be lowered in the future, but it seems unlikely in all honesty.
If you have not withdrawn money from Fitzdares before, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
To enter the withdrawal cashier, tap the ‘Account’ option in the bottom right corner of the screen, and then select the ‘Withdraw’ option when shown at the top of the screen.
Once you have entered this area, you will be asked to enter your withdrawal amount (which you can check against your current balance - a nice touch!). However, you cannot change your method due to Money Laundering Regulations.
The final step is to confirm your withdrawal, which can be done by tapping the yellow 'Withdraw' button shown at the bottom of the screen. Following this, you can be taken to a confirmation screen showing that your withdrawal request has begun to be processed.
After submitting your withdrawal request to Fitzdares, you will be able to check the status of it via the 'Withdrawal history' area, which can be seen in the image below. We were also given regular email updates to inform us of the status of our withdrawal.
We got the money in just 25 minutes in our test, which is fantastic. However, Mastercard customers will be forced to wait longer due to the lack of a feature similar to Visa Direct.
