There are some of the biggest clubs in the world circling Milos Kerkez right now and the ceiling he has as a 21-year-old, together with the level of performance he is already turning in means it would be a shock if at least a few of those clubs don't firm up their interest in him this summer.
Kerkez is likely to be keen on exploring those moves too, as he looks to prove himself capable of doing it at a "big club" after failing to establish himself with AC Milan earlier in his career.
Reports would suggest Bournemouth are viewing his departure as inevitable too with suggestions that the Cherries hierarchy are already considering what they do next.
That could well be a story for another day but, for now, let's have a look at Milos Kerkez's next club options.
Liverpool signing Milos Kerkez feels like a perfect fit in so many ways. Despite winning the league at a relative canter, left-back has been a bit of a problem area for Arne Slot's side.
Andrew Robertson is capable but, in harsh truth, well past his best and Konstantinos Tsimikas isn't fancied too heavily by Slot. With Mo Salah and Virgil Van Dijk having penned new deals, you could argue left-back is the number one position Liverpool need to address.
From a stylistic perspective, Kerkez fits the bill too. He's decent defensively but has an incredible engine to work up and down the touchline whilst his quality on the ball is undoubted too as evidenced by eight league goal contributions this season.
Throw in the fact that his international captain is Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai and that Richard Hughes, Liverpool's Sporting Director, was instrumental in his move to Bournemouth, and there is likely to be a persuasive voice or two on the end of the blower if a transfer tussle unfolds!
Surprisingly, Bournemouth are only a 3/1 shot to keep hold of Kerkez come the end of the summer transfer window.
We guess it's not impossible, but the odds don't exactly shout value, and, as we have already alluded to, we understand Bournemouth are planning for a future without him.
Admittedly, the Cherries have been loud and clear about not having to sell their players from a financial perspective, and Kerkez isn't the only one attracting serious interest, with Dean Huijsen also linked with a mega move.
You could take a view that Bournemouth won't sanction the sale of half of their defence but, equally, if the Hungarian international has approaches from some of the clubs that are reportedly in the running for his signature then it might be hard to keep him.
After all, with the utmost respect, Bournemouth will never be a truly elite team season in, season out.
Man City have endured a pretty miserable season by their own high standards and their full back positions could be in for a revamp in the summer.
Kyle Walker, who plays on the right, looks destined to exit the club as he is currently on loan at Milan and at left back the role has been shared across Josko Gvardiol, Nathan Ake and Nico O'Reilly, none of whom play that role as their first choice.
Kerkez is one name that has been linked with Pep Guardiola's men. In theory, the qualities he possesses would help City's attacking movements with his high positioning and overlapping runs, both attributes that would help to pull stubborn defences out of shape.
Whether or not Kerkez would choose a move to City or not remains to be seen. Kerkez has a clear style of play; Guardiola is known to be somewhat creative with how he deploys his fullbacks, and, as such, it could sow a seed of doubt in Kerkez's mind when weighing up his options.
Real Madrid has been muted as a possible destination for Kerkez with suggestions made that Fran Garcia, a fellow left back, could be offered up to Bournemouth in a player plus cash deal.
The structure of such a deal could appeal to both Cherries boss Andoni Iraola and Garcia with the duo having worked together at Vallecano but, equally, they could come together without Kerkez heading to the Bernabeu - especially given Los Blancos' links to Huijsen.
From Kerkez's perspective, a move to the Bernabeu might be hard to turn down, but he will want to be sure of a first-team place in 2025/26 with a potential World Cup coming his way next year.
Would he be the number one pick at Real if Ferland Mendy gets himself physically right over the summer?
