On Saturday evening, the peak of European football will be seen when PSG meet Arsenal in this year's Champions League final. Let's dive into our tips for the game.
Below, you can find Ben's tips for PSG vs. Arsenal. The odds were correct at the time of writing.
It's the Champions League final and both Arsenal and PSG are on the verge of something special. For the French giants, you have the chance to create a legacy with two successive Champions League victories in a row.
Whilst for Arsenal, there is the chance to do a Premier League and Champions League double. It is rare and it would show the culmination of their project until now.
Both have more than enough of a chance of winning it and despite the feelings towards Arsenal and their style of play, this could be one of the better finals in recent years.
Expected PSG lineup vs. Arsenal (4-3-3): Safonov; Zaire-Emery, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Ruiz, Vitinha, Joao Neves; Kvaratskhelia, Dembele, Doue.
Expected Arsenal lineup vs. PSG (4-2-3-1): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Lewis-Skelly; Saka, Odegaard, Trossard; Havertz.
Declan Rice's foul statistics are not the greatest, admittedly. However, he stands out here in my eyes. PSG's midfield is one of the best in the business and giving them an early knock could cause a difference in the tempo.
Rice has already made a foul in one final this season, picking up three in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City. With 0.92 fouls per game in the Champions League this season, too. It looks a good price.
This is a risk, given that it is a final and teams can be a little less eager to get into tackles. However, both have a tendency to get cards.
Then, when we look at Daniel Siebert's card statistics, the pick looks even better.
He has averaged 5.35 cards per game in the Champions League since 2022, and in his 10 games this season, this pick has landed in seven of them. In other words, Evens looks like great value.
Arsenal are very much the set-piece kings of the Premier League and that record goes over to the Champions League, where they have had more than their opponents in 10 of their 14 games this season.
However, I expect this game to be dominated by PSG, and that could see Arsenal conceding corners through pressure. PSG are perhaps slightly better, too, with 11 games with more corners than their opponents in their 16 fixtures this season.
On current form, Kvaratskhelia is one of the most inevitable players in Europe and I cannot believe the price for him to score or assist against Arsenal this weekend.
The Georgian winger has contributed in nine of his last 10 games in the Champions League - and he managed one against Arsenal last season, too. He could be decisive in this final and I expect him to play a big part.
I tipped PSG at the start of the competition and I cannot help to back them again here. They've been here before and done it and they have the luxury to rotate their squad throughout the season.
In other words, that freshness has got them here and I think they'll get over the line again. Though I expect it to be a tougher final than last season's 5-0 win against Inter...
It is also worth noting that a few bookmakers have boosted the odds for them to win and have most corners, so keep an eye on that.
