Alfobet was relaunched in the UK betting market in mid-2026 as a white-label platform by Grace Media, following a previous existence under AG Communications.
In this review, we put the site to the test by signing up, verifying our account, depositing real money, placing bets and withdrawing funds.

No matter how good some areas of Alfobet might be, we cannot get past some of the navigational issues experienced. It is horrendous.
Most areas of the site operate smoothly enough, with little challenge manoeuvring around. However, there is a real issue with different areas of the site being linked up.
For example, you can navigate from the sportsbook, through your account area and into the customer support pages without any issues, but the Alfobet logo in the site header does not return you back to the homepage.
You just get stuck in a loop. So instead, you have to use the oversized logo buried in the site footer to bring you back to the landing page.
On top of that, the burger menu in the top left does not work at all. It interacts but brings up a blank space. This is hugely problematic and makes it impossible to navigate to the Alfobet casino directly.
These issues continue across the site, with the live chat functionality also failing to launch. It's another black mark in an area that should be a positive for the site.
With all of this in mind, and acknowledging that there are positives to be had across the sportsbook and banking versatility, we simply cannot recommend using Alfobet at this time. There are too many design faults.
About Alfobet
Alfobet is a brand name that some might recognise, courtesy of it having previously traded under AG Communications Limited (UKGC: 39483). After suffering a £1.4m fine for licence breaches in 2025 and increasing taxes, AG Communications pulled the plug on a lot of the brands it supported.
Now, as of June 2026, Alfobet is operated by Grace Media (Gibraltar) Limited (UKGC: 57869). It is no stranger to these agreements either, with a total of 72 domain names on its record. A few examples are Hotstreak Casino and BettaBet, which are two pretty popular bookies.
In theory, Alfobet should be in safe hands, with a vast number of domains under its spell alongside a few years of already establishing itself as a licence holder. It first launched in the UK in March 2022. But what is actually the case?
Is Alfobet Safe & Legit?

Alfobet has been through a pretty tough time, with the whole circus surrounding former operator AG Communications. However, yes, it is a safe and legitimately operated site.
Since June 2026, it has been operated by Grace Media (Gibraltar) Limited (UKGC: 57869). It means that question marks from pre-June are not relevant.

There are two things to note where Alfobet's Trustpilot profile is concerned.
The first is that there are just a tiny number of reviews, which means the rating is highly volatile and, in truth, means very little.
The second thing to keep in mind is that some of the reviews actually pre-date the re-launch. That makes the rating details even more questionable.
💰 Has Alfobet Been Fined by the UKGC?
Let us be very clear, Alfobet has never been fined by the UKGC. With that said, the companies that operate, or have operated, Alfobet have been.
In June 2025, Grace Media were fined £60k for failing to meet Social Responsibility requirements. This predated their launch of Alfobet, with Alfobet unaffected.
AG Communications were hit with a much bigger fine in February 2025, being charged over £1.4m for failures relating to Social Responsibility and Anti-Money Laundering. Notably, Alfobet was not in operation as a domain at this time, with its launch coming after these fines.
Alfobet Deposit Methods
You have a well-balanced set of deposit methods available at Alfobet, with the choices spread across key types rather than users being bombarded with every specific brand under the sun.
Visa and Mastercard serve as your tried and trusted debit card options, with the more modern option Apple Pay also available. E-wallet options are serviced via PayPal and MuchBetter, whilst there is a dedicated Pay By Bank option available as well.
Irrespective of your choice, the deposit range is the same. Alfobet's minimum deposit sits at just £5, which is a big positive, whilst the top end of the range comes in at £2,000.

How to Deposit At Alfobet
To deposit funds at Alfobet, simply follow the below step-by-step process:

Alfobet Withdrawal Methods
The deposit methods available to you at Alfobet include debit card, Apple Pay, MuchBetter, PayPal and Pay By Bank options. In theory, each of these methods can be used for withdrawing funds too.
Notably, though, what you see during the Alfobet withdrawal process will alter based on your choices when depositing funds. This is standard practice and not unique to Alfobet.
One thing we do need to highlight, however, is the withdrawal minimums. Whilst deposits can be made from as little as £5, Alfobet's minimum withdrawal sits at £10.
Furthermore, our withdrawal test wasn't exactly instant as the money landed back in our bank account after 12 hours and 11 minutes, which can certainly be improved.

Alfobet Sportsbook Review
There is a glaring omission in the Alfobet sportsbook: no horse racing or greyhound markets. That is going to be a big miss for a lot of punters. If, however, you're not a racing bettor, then let's focus on what Alfobet does do, rather than what it doesn't. There is plenty of good stuff going on too.
You can bet on close to 40 different sports, with a dedicated section for "Politics" and "Specials", whilst growing areas like e-sports are also available. Really, though, football is the big-hitting sport where Alfobet is concerned.
There is global coverage, with the A-Z of countries covered stretching from Algeria down to Venezuela, giving you a fairly good indication of how far Alfobet casts its net. All told, there are competitions from 76 different countries - and that count doesn't include international markets or competitions like the Champions League.
We need to talk about the sportsbook structure too. Alfobet has rightly had a bit of stick from us for its shoddy site design, but the sportsbook as a siloed function is pretty slick.
There is a two-tiered horizontal navigator at the top of the page. The narrower of the two is fixed-width and gives quick access to core areas, such as your betslip and live markets. The other functions as a scroller and allows you to browse through the list of sports available.
Whilst the view beneath each sport is different based on the markets and events it offers, the design principles remain consistent. You can collapse, extend and favourite markets, quick-explore popular markets for an event without losing your place on the page and even see the lengthening and shortening of prices through colour changing odds.
Last but not least, we also reviewed the Alfobet betting margins. They come in at an average 9.17%, which is sadly too high for our liking. Good betting margins tend to be below 6%, or close to that anyway, so the bookie can do better here.
Alfobet Casino Review
The Alfobet casino isn't anything to write home about, with around 1,100 games offered in total. The vast majority of those titles come out of the "Slots" category, with just over 100 forming part of the named "Casino" area.
As game counts go, that is on the low side compared to industry averages. The layout across the two areas is similar. Game tiles are large and easy to interact with, which is a positive but there is a lack of game filtering and search functionality. This makes it tough for users to narrow down the game lobby and get to the games they might want to play.
We do, however, need to caveat this by pointing out the fact we were unable to test the Alfobet casino from a logged-in position. This is due to navigational issues on the site, which are detailed in the "Alfobet Overall Score" section of this article.
Alfobet Mobile App
Alfobet is a very fresh launch under Grace Media, so you might expect it to come with a mobile app given the on-the-go nature of society in 2026.
There is no mobile app offered, though. Ordinarily, we might be a little bit critical of that, but there are so many issues with the browser design that the absence of an app becomes completely insignificant.
If we look past those issues and instead take a broader view of the Grace Media network, we would still suggest that an imminent Alfobet mobile app is hugely unlikely.
Alfobet Responsible Gambling
The approach Alfobet takes to Responsible Gambling is likely to be a question on the lips of many punters, particularly with former operator AG Communications having been heavily fined and Grace Media having previously come up short in this area too.
That Grace Media regulatory action pre-dates the Alfobet re-launch, though, and improvements were made to the processes as part of the failure resolution.
We can see that coming through in the way Safer Gambling is handled at Alfobet. There are two layers to how this works.
If curious, we'd suggest you head to the site footer menu as a first port of call. From here, you can navigate to a dedicated "Safer Gambling" page that clearly outlines a range of different information about responsible gambling, starting off with the company's commitment and quickly detailing the available tools, external support and self-assessment options. It is genuinely really well put together.

If you then want to put any of these tools into action, you can do so by navigating to the "Safer Gambling" section included in your main account menu. Again, this is well laid out and easy to navigate.
Alfobet Customer Support
Accessing the Alfobet support isn't the most straightforward thing to do, with only the footers hosting the contact information. Notably, this isn't visible on every page, which creates a little bit of disruption in the user experience.
We'd recommend accessing the site footer via your main account menu. Once found, the support you get looks like it should be pretty good.
Now, we say it should be pretty good. What does that mean exactly? Well, the "Start Live Chat" button does not work at all, making it impossible to initiate a chat.
Now, we know from having looked at some of the Alfobet sister sites that also operate under Grace Media that the live chat service generally delivers low friction and timely responses, but we cannot hang our hat on that here. It's a huge shame.
Offering email and text exchanges is a good step and most don't enable both of those methods of contact. The FAQ section is top too.
Subjects are split out into a tidy grid. It makes it easy to hone in on your area of question, with the grid icons then serving as click-through buttons into a list of relevant questions. It is neatly packaged and intuitive to use.
