As much as it is lovely to land an ACCA, there is always the risk of your team dropping from a winning position. So, this is why several bookies now offer an early payout/2UP promotion.

However, SkyBet have gone a step further, adding a 'Freeze' option to your bets. Indeed, all you need to do is make a bet with five selections or more and then if your team goes 1-0 up, you have the option to 'Freeze' the bet.

This means that whatever happens, you are paid out on a 1-0 win, even if your selection goes on to lose by a few goals or even ends up drawing.

Unfortunately, once a bet has been frozen, it cannot be undone. However, this is not always a bad thing. You also cannot use several freezes in the same bet, even though you get three a week.

There are several ways to use the Acca Freeze tool, too. One of the most popular is by adding a heavy underdog to a bet with a few reasonable prices, or even 'bad' ones.

This would mean that if they take the lead, you can freeze it and secure a huge boost on an already high price, provided the other teams also get the job done!
