Betting on English League Two Matches

The fourth tier of English football might be the lowest league of the EFL, but it is highly competitive, and any team can win on their day.

This often leads to generous odds for most games and markets throughout the season. The top bookies now offer bet builders for all League Two games, but the markets are limited compared to Premier League and Championship games.

League Two matches are known to be card-heavy, but there are not usually card betting markets available unless the game is televised.

The corner markets are also worth a visit for League Two betting. Matches often feature a high number of corners, averaging around 10-11 corners per game. But once again, the corner betting markets are not always available to most UK bookies.

In terms of the goals market, Both Teams to Score (BTTS) occurred in 59% of the matches in the 2023/24 League Two season. The Premier League was the only other English league that saw BTTS land (62%) more than League Two.

The Home win advantage was also strong in the 2023/24 season, with 45% of home teams winning, which is on par with the Championship (45%) and PL (46%).
