Better Late Than Never for Liverpool

When Andy Robertson's late own goal levelled the score for West Ham, it looked as though they'd earned an unlikely point at Anfield. However, up stepped Virgil van Dijk.

The Dutchman, heavily rumoured to be signing a new contract with his current deal up in the summer, scored at the death to put his team one step closer to securing the Premier League title. The Reds are 1/1000 to win it.

Rotated Arsenal Team Pick Up Single Point

The general feeling amongst Gunners fans is that the league title is now out of reach and they should instead be focusing their efforts on the Champions League. This feeling was only added to following their gargantuan 3-0 victory over Real Madrid in midweek.

They rotated and rested some key players for their clash with Brentford, including Bukayo Saka, and managed to grind out a 1-1 draw and come away from the game unscathed. Perhaps a victory over all, with all things considered. Arsenal are 100/1 to win the title.

Newcastle Extend Winning Run With Huge Win

Newcastle extended their winning run to six games in the Premier League, following a 5-0 trashing against Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening. As such, they leapfrogged Nottingham Forest in the standings - they lost to Everton - and now sit on 59 points.

Although the remaining games aren't easy, returning to play Champions League games is firmly in their own hands. Furthermore, with the Premier League set to get five spots for the big competition, Newcastle have a five-point cushion. They are now 4/11 to finish in the top four.

Should Forest Fans Be Worried?

As said, Nottingham Forest lost their encounter with Everton at the weekend, making it two consecutive defeats. Should the fans be worried? Aston Villa and Chelsea, in 6th and 7th respectively, are now just three points behind Nuno Espirito Santo's side so a win is definitely needed against Spurs next.

They are 6/4 to make the top four this season and it remains to be seen if their odds will continue to move in the wrong direction (from the Forest fans' perspective). The teams behind will certainly give them a run for their money.

Leicester and Ipswich Struggle to Close the Gap

Leicester finally scored, twice actually, but this still wouldn't be enough for them to win a Premier League game. Their 2-2 draw with Brighton at least ended their streak of eight league losses, but it wasn't inspiring for their survival hopes. They're 1/500 to go down.

Somewhat similar for Ipswich, they drew 2-2 with Chelsea. On paper, a decent result, but if they're to have even the slightest chance of maintaining their top-flight status, they need to be getting some wins on the board. They're 1/150 to go down.

Wolves Prey on Spurs

Wolves picked up a hugely important victory when they hosted Spurs. In a game riddled with mistakes, Wolves rode out as 4-2 winners. Amazingly, they're now ahead of West Ham and are just two points behind Spurs themselves. As such, they're 500/1 to go down.

No Mo Goals This Week

Mohamed Salah failed to add to his tally again this weekend, but he'll have little worries about losing out on the Golden Boot this year. As such, he's 1/200 to win the award.

Alexander Isak is now likely to be Salah's only competitor for the trophy but is still probably too far away to be putting any real pressure on at this stage. He's 50/1 to win the Golden Boot.
