Sheffield Wednesday haven't been particularly impressive since returning to League One, and they're hoping a managerial change will change that.
On Sunday afternoon, the Owls stated that they'd parted ways with Henrik Pedersen and they're now looking for a new coach, with BetVictor and its sister sites pricing up the options.
Let's take a look at some of the names in the mix.
Below are the latest betting odds for Sheffield Wednesday's next permanent manager at the time of this post.
In League One, Sheffield Wednesday started the season as one of the title favourites. However, they're far from that position.
They sit in eighth currently, with a game in hand on the play-offs. So, things can be improved. However, they're seven points off the top, so it seems difficult to imagine them catching up that much.
Back-to-back defeats against - with respect - lesser sides in the division also offer little to suggest things would change.
So, on Sunday, the Owls announced their decision to part ways with the Dane.
Let's go over the favourites to replace Henrik Pedersen and the odds for each manager.
It feels like this could happen and to me, it should. Since starting to write this article, Challinor's odds have gone from 6/4 to 4/6 and even 2/5 now. In other words, the money has flown in for Challinor.
It'd be the best hire that they could make, too. His managerial record is phenomenal and he'd surely be able to get something more out of this Wednesday team.
Maybe it's just hope from the Wednesdayites, but the money that has come for Challinor speaks for itself.

Rob Edwards hasn't exactly got loads of options available to him and a drop back into League One could make sense.
The Welshman has managed in the Championship in two of his last three jobs - Luton and Middlesbrough - before failing to keep Wolves up.
His stock isn't exactly the highest, so it could be a move that Wednesday look to make. Yet, there'd be questions about whether he'd be there for the long term.

If Wednesday pulled this off, it'd be one of the best appointments - on paper - in League One history.
Sean Dyche was last seen managing Nottingham Forest, so it seems difficult to see him dropping into League One. However, stranger things have happened and it could give him an interesting project for the long term.
For me, though, it won't happen and at 10/1, I'm steering clear.

With me discounting two of the three options listed to be the new manager at Hillsborough, let's look at the other options in the market.
Paul Heckingbottom at 12/1 feels like a possible option, but a supporter of Barnsley and a former Blade, it feels tough to see Wednesday fans being on board.
Darren Ferguson is also 12/1 for the job, but he's not a coach that screams ambition...
Matt Hamshaw is 14/1 and as the interim coach, he certainly could make an impression, but that might not inspire. Again, I'd be wary.
The same could be said for Karl Robinson - about being wary - at 14/1, it seems a poor price for a coach who couldn't get Salford promoted.
We could keep going here, but the market is pretty underwhelming, and I'd be surprised if it wasn't Challinor at this point. However, the price has gone, so it's not worth backing it now.
