Two stoppage goals courtesy of Darwin Nunez helped Liverpool to three important points in their charge towards winning the Premier League title.
Opponents Brentford had been successful in keeping the Reds out, but super-sub Nunez late brace won Arne Slot’s side the three points. The late victory left them on 50 points, and as such, their odds are 2/9 to lift the Premier League trophy.
It was deja vu for Arsenal when their title hopes received a huge blow at the hands of Aston Villa. The Villains, ironically, managed to take a point despite being in a two-goal deficit with just a third of the game remaining.
The result left the Gunners on 44 points, six behind league leaders Liverpool, who also have a game in hand still to play. Arsenal are now 5/1 to win the Premier League title.
Below, we have collected the top two teams and their respective odds to win the title in the 2024/25 Premier League season.

Newcastle’s superb run of form came to an end this weekend when they were well beaten, losing 4-1 to Bournemouth. They had been on a winning streak of six league games and nine in all competitions. They’re now 7/4 to finish inside the top four spots.
Their opponents, Bournemouth, have been mightily impressive this season. Despite their growing injury list, they’ve picked up some fantastic wins over big sides this season. A Justin Kluivert hat-trick sunk his father's former team and put his own side in major contention for a place in the Champions League, being 10/1 odds to achieve this.
Despite a late scare, Nottingham Forest picked up another huge three points in their pursuit of the top four. They were 3-0 and cruising against Southampton, before the Saints scored a second to make it 3-2 with a few minutes left. Nonetheless, the win cemented them firmly into the CL spots. They’re 21/10 to finish there.
Manchester City are far from the team we’ve come to know over recent years, but they’ve at least remained in the running for a spot in Europe’s most prestigious competition. They put six past Ipswich this weekend, and are now 1/2 to make the top four.
Below, we have collected three teams and their respective odds to finish top four in the 2024/25 Premier League season.
A gargantuan win for Everton was welcomed by the Toffees supporters and David Moyes alike. The Scot’s second game of his return was a big 3-2 victory over Spurs, in a game where they probably could have won by four or five, and the final score was kind to the visitors.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored a lovely goal early on, which was added to by a sublime solo effort by Iliman Ndiaye and an Archie Gray own goal. Everton were off the pace slightly in the second half but certainly deserved to win. They’re 5/1 to get relegated this season.
Everton were helped by some teams below them dropping points, too. One of which is Leicester. They were well beaten by Fulham and on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline. They're 1/7 to make the drop come at the end of the season.
Manchester United were beaten 3-1 by Brighton, leaving the Red Devils just ten points clear of the drop zone. For reference, they are 24 points off the top of the table. Andre Onana’s gift to Georginio Rutter secured the Seagull’s all three points, and United are now 33/1 to go down.
Below, we have collected three teams and their respective odds to be relegated in the 2024/25 Premier League season.
This weekend’s result against Brighton has left Ruben Amorim scratching his head again. He just can’t seem to get it right, though there’s no doubt his players are letting him down too. He is 20/1 to be the next PL manager sacked, despite how short a time he’s been there.
Ange Postecoglu suffered a similar result as Spurs were beaten by Everton. Many Spurs fans are growing tired of his ways, and their away following was far from happy when the full-time whistle blew on Sunday. Postecoglu is 4/6 to be the next manager who leaves post, whether Daniel Levy pulls the trigger or if he walks himself.
Ruud van Nistlerooy looked like an odd appointment for a struggling Leicester City. They looked destined to go down when he joined, and they look even more likely to do so now. The Dutchman’s only managerial experience in England was a mediocre spell as Manchester United’s caretaker, and as it stands, he’ll take the Foxes down. He’s 7/2 to be the next manager sacked.
Below, we have collected a few contenders and their respective odds to be the next manager sacked in the 2024/25 Premier League season.
Erling Haaland scored a goal in his team’s rampant victory against Ipswich. It was his 17th goal of the season, and put him just one goal behind the current leader. He is 5/4 to lift the golden boot.
Chris Wood scored again and that shouldn’t shock anyone. He is in blistering form this season and is up to 14 for the season, showing no signs of slowing down. He is 33/1 to end the season with more Premier League goals than anyone else.
Another Justin Kluivert hat-trick put the Dutchman on 10 goals for the season. Bournemouth have been brilliant in this campaign and are scoring plenty of goals, and Kluivert looks set to net plenty more before the end of the season. He’s at 100/1 to win the golden boot.
Below, we have collected a few contenders and their respective odds to be crowned top goalscorer in the 2024/25 Premier League season.
