With just four nights of league action left in the 2025 Premier League, it's crunch time as we move onto the Utilita Arena in Birmingham for Night 13.
Gerwyn Price claimed his third nightly win of the season in Liverpool last Thursday. This lifted him to third in the table and three points ahead of Michael van Gerwen in fifth, as the race for the playoffs continues.
Luke Littler now leads by just four points at the top of the table after Luke Humphries made his third final in five weeks.
Luke Littler hasn't made a nightly final in the Premier League since night 8. He's still looking for that elusive 5th nightly win to break the Premier League record of most titles in a season, and his gap at the top has now been reduced to just four points.
The Nuke lost to Michael van Gerwen 6-5 in his opening match last week, but hit six 180s and averaged 98.77. I don't think his recent run of results is too concerning simply because we have to remember he's only 18 and he hasn't had a run like this in his career. He needs to keep his head down, though, and continue to grind away rather than react to the crowd or write on social media like he has lately, because that won't help whatsoever.
Stephen Bunting will be disappointed with his 6-1 defeat to Rob Cross last week, especially as it was in front of his home crowd in Liverpool. That defeat has pretty much sealed The Bullet's fate, and it will take a miraculous recovery from here to qualify for the playoffs.
I really like over 7.5 180s here, both are massive scores, especially Littler, who has hit 21 maximums in his last four Premier League matches.

Nathan Aspinall is holding onto fourth spot in the league table on leg difference over Michael van Gerwen and will need to improve on his latest form to stay there. The Asp lost 6-3 to Luke Humphries in his opening match in Liverpool but played well, averaging 104.03. He then went on to lose in his opening match on the European Tour last week, 6-2 against Kevin Doets with a 90.26 average.
Chris Dobey played brilliantly last week but lost 6-2 with a 105.61 average against Gerwyn Price. Hollywood seems to have turned his form around after winning night 11 and had a good run to the quarter finals of last weekend's European Tour in Graz, losing to eventual winner Martin Schindler 6-4.
Dobey still has an outside chance of making the playoffs and beat Nathan Aspinall 6-2 on night 11. The Geordie looks in much better form at the moment and should come through this if he carries on his momentum.

Luke Humphries continues to close the gap on Luke Littler at the top of the table, and another final last week has reduced it to four points. The World Number 1 averaged 113.50 during his 6-3 quarter-final victory over Nathan Aspinall last week and looks in a much better rhythm than he was a few weeks ago. He then beat MVG before losing to Gerwyn Price in the final with a 102.64 average.
Gerwyn Price won his third nightly title of the season last week in Liverpool and averaged over 100 in all three of his matches. The problem for the Welshman this season has been inconsistency, and he needs to eradicate that from his game to enable him to compete week in week out with the elite. The game is clearly there, though, and he's now up to third in the table and can consolidate his position with another victory tonight.
This match is a flip of a coin in my opinion, both players have struggled with consistency this season, but I still expect it to be a close match, so over 9.5 legs looks the sensible play here.
Rob Cross broke his four-match losing streak in the Premier League last week with a 6-1 victory over Stephen Bunting with a 100.05 average. He failed to back it up, though, and lost 6-2 against Gerwyn Price with an average of just 86.51. Voltage will be extremely disappointed with his form in the middle of this campaign, and he'll have to dramatically improve if he's to qualify for the playoffs in London.
Michael van Gerwen looks to have found some form again after winning on the European Tour in Munich. The Dutchman continued his rivalry with Luke Littler in the quarter-final last week and came through a dramatic last-leg decider to win 6-5. He lost to Luke Humphries in the semi-final, though, but played well, averaging 98.21 in a 6-4 loss.
MVG looks to have found his scoring power again and has registered the most 180s in five of his last eight matches on tour, and the odds look brilliant value for him to win and do the same again here.
