ZetBet is a relatively new betting site and although it is operated by the well-known Aspire Global International, its infancy shines through on many fronts. While the welcome offer is decent, the are virtually no promotions and the design does not stand out from the competition. Not to mention that there is no app for customers to download.

On the other hand, the sportsbook is decent overall and the same can be said for the casino. Some bettors might be just fine on the site, but those who want more innovation and weekly promotions should look elsewhere. In fact, aside from perhaps the welcome offer, there is no real incentive to sign up on ZetBet - even if the foundation is still decent.

About ZetBet

UK sports fans have plenty of choices when it comes to betting sites and new options are being launched on the market all the time. ZetBet was added to the list at the start of 2022 and potential new customers will want to know more about the orange-themed site.

ZetBet is owned by Marketplay Ltd and operated by the well-known Aspire Global International under a white-label solution. As a result, the site is likely to have a familiar feel as it follows a similar style and navigation system to the company's other sites. You can read our review of Luckster Sport, which is one of these sister sites.

In this review, we will discuss everything that ZetBet has to offer, from the welcome offer to the payment methods available. Our aim is to help you make an informed decision about whether to sign up on the site or not.

Is ZetBet Safe?

As ZetBet is one of the new betting sites, potential new customers will have questions about the safety of the site. It is operated by Aspire Global International, as mentioned, and the latter is regulated by the Gambling Commission in the UK. This means it complies with the requirements set out by the license.

On Trustpilot, ZetBet has a rather poor rating of 2.4 out of five stars, with customers mainly complaining about slow withdrawals and verification issues. We have seen worse rates for betting sites, in fairness, but customers should always proceed with caution when signing up for a new betting site (which ZetBet is).

ZetBet Welcome Offer

Sports bettors who are thinking about signing up at ZetBet will be happy to find out that there is a decent welcome offer to claim. While it isn't the highest in the business, new customers can receive a £10 free bet. All they need to do is place a £10+ bet at a minimum odds of evens (2.00), upon which the free bet will be credited.

ZetBet Welcome Offer

The subsequent free bet must have a minimum odds of 4/5 (1.80) and must also be used within 14 days. There are no wagering requirements for the potential winnings and the stake will not be returned. It should also be noted that only those depositing with a debit card, bank transfer or Trustly will qualify for the welcome offer.

Overall, the ZetBet welcome offer is decent but not much more than that. Bettors who want to find the best possible one should thus take a look at the welcome offers that we have compiled. BetMGM, for example, offers £40 in free bets from a £10 deposit.

ZetBet Promotions

Potential new customers will be disappointed to find pit that there are basically no promotions available at ZetBet. In fact, this is a huge drawback of the site and we highlighted similar issues for the sister site Luckster Sport. In other words, this is most likely something that the operator Aspire Global International also must work on, as promotions are a key way for betting sites to retain customers.

The one promotion of note at ZetBet, excluding the bet builder and cash out which are listed as that too, is an acca boost of up to 77%. Starting at 4%, it will depend on the number of selections in the acca (minimum of four). For the maximum boost, customers need to pick a whopping 15 selections. Each selection in the acca must also have a minimum odds of 1/2 (1.50).

ZetBet Promotions

The acca boost is capped at £11,000, which is okay, but the promotions offering overall must be improved for ZetBet to compete with the top betting sites in the UK. Most of the potential new customers will probably read this and decide to not sign up, and you cannot blame them. Especially since there are so many good promotions to claim on other sites.

ZetBet Deposit

There is a decent amount of payment methods available at ZetBet, with debit cards and a few e-wallets like PayPal on the list. The biggest drawback, as we mentioned in the 'ZetBet Welcome Offer' section, is that only a few of these methods will qualify for the welcome offer. Those who are keen on using PayPal may have to turn to other sites that support the method, even though it is technically available at ZetBet.

Popular options such as Skrill and Neteller are also missing, despite the former being available on some of the sister sites. Below is everything you need to know about the payment methods at ZetBet, including the minimum deposit:

Payment Method Minimum Deposit
Debit Card (MasterCard, Visa) £10
PayPal £10
Trustly £10
MuchBetter £10
Paysafecard £10
Instant Banking £10

How to Deposit at ZetBet

  1. Make sure you are logged in and tap on the 'Cashier' button
  2. Tap on 'Deposit'
  3. Choose your preferred payment method and enter the amount
  4. Follow the specific instructions for your payment method

ZetBet Withdrawal

Customers at ZetBet have a few different methods to choose between when it comes to withdrawals. As is the case with all betting sites, withdrawals via debit cards are rather slow and those who are looking for speed should turn to Instant Banking instead. ZetBet's site suggests that this service is available, meaning customers can have their money within a few minutes of withdrawal.

PayPal will likely also be a speedy option for ZetBet customers, but if you want to compare with other betting sites you can take a look at our page dedicated to fast withdrawals. Once the status of a withdrawal request has changed to 'In Process', as per ZetBet, customers will no longer be able to cancel it.

Below is everything you need to know about the withdrawal methods at ZetBet, including the various processing times:

Payment Method Processing Time Minimum Withdrawal
Debit Card (MasterCard, Visa) Up to 6 business days £10
PayPal Up to 2 business days £10
Trustly Up to 4 business days £10
MuchBetter Up to 2 business days £10
Instant Banking Instant £10

How to Withdraw From Zetbet

  1. Make sure you are logged in and tap on the 'Cashier' button
  2. Tap on 'Cash Out'
  3. Choose the payment method and enter the amount
  4. Follow the specific instructions and tap on 'Cash Out Request'

How to Verify an Account at Zetbet

As with any betting site that is regulated by the Gambling Commission, ZetBet has a KYC (Know Your Customer) process in place to confirm the identity of its customers. For some of the new customers, this will happen automatically with the help of the information provided during the registration. However, some may be asked to upload one or more of the following:

  • Proof of ID: Passport, driver’s license or other recognized government-issued document.
  • Proof of funds: Payslip, tax return, bank statement or other

Customers who are asked to provide additional information can send it via live chat or email. Alternatively, and this is probably the easiest method, they could head over to 'My Account' and 'Account Details' where they will find a document uploader. If you intend to continue gambling at ZetBet, you need to comply with this process.

Zetbet Sportsbook

UK sports fans who have used other Aspire Global International-operated sites will probably notice that Zetbet has a similar style, with the sportsbook looking much the same as a lot of other brands. The only difference, really, is the colour scheme and ZetBet has opted for orange. It should be said, though, that the similarity could be a plus as new customers might find it easier at the start.

Zetbet offers a wide array of sports, but football is naturally the top sport to be on at this site. There are more than 1,500 different markets on offer, covering leagues, cups and competitions from every corner of the globe. If there is a match that a customer wants to bet on, the odds are that Zetbet will have it. For events in the Premier League, Zetbet customers will be able to pick from 350 different bets, so they are certainly going to be spoiled for choice.

ZetBet Sportsbook

Horse racing and greyhound betting markets are offered, which is good news as sometimes these are missing at new UK betting sites. Zetbet has some global meetings but not quite the same level of depth for racing fans who are used to using the best horse racing betting sites. There are plenty of ante-post betting markets, though, for those who like to bet in advance. For greyhound racing, though, there are much better options out there.

Tennis, basketball and Formula 1 are some of the other top sports to bet on at Zetbet, which also has decent coverage of more minor sports such as futsal, speedway, hurling and handball. Zetbet also has a dedicated esports section, as fans of esports betting can pick from markets covering the likes of CS:GO, League of Legends and Dota 2.

An area where Zetbet Sports needs to make improvements is in its live in-play betting. While there are plenty of live sports to pick from, the depth of markets on offer is not very good. There is a lack of live streaming - usually also true for most new UK sports betting sites - while the interface for live in-play betting is not particularly user-friendly and lacks data as well as statistics.

Odds on the Zetbet sportsbook are okay, with testing indicating that they fall somewhere in the middle of the park. Bettors who are keen on finding the best odds for specific events, and in this case football, can take a look at our page with the best football odds listed.

ZetBet Casino

Like a lot of new sports betting sites in the UK these days, Zetbet also has a casino section. The lack of promotions in the sports section extends into this as well, but there is at least a welcome offer. New customers can claim up to 100 Free Spins as well as a bonus of up to £200, but do take a look at ZetBet's site for the full T&Cs as there are some factors in play.

ZetBet Casino

As for the casino games selection, there are over 1,000 games to pick from and most players will probably be well happy with the library. There is also a live casino section, featuring games from providers such as Evolution Gaming, Metropolitan Gaming and Skywind Group. This makes for an extensive library in the live casino as well, with the popular game Lightning Roulette listed among others.

The navigation and design of the casino is decent, with relatively fast loading times and good filtering options, including a search function. The feeling, however, is that it cannot compete with the top UK online casino sites. The design does not feel 'exclusive' enough and the lack of promotions must be taken into consideration as well. On the other hand, it is pretty much what you would expect.

ZetBet Mobile App

Potential new customers will be disappointed to hear that at the time of writing, there is no app to download. Many betting sites have apps these days, and there are some very good apps available as well, so this is something that ZetBet will have to look into in the future. The convenience of an app cannot be understated, that is for sure.

Having said that, the mobile website is decent enough and ZetBet customers will be able to survive without the app. Mobile websites are no longer clunky and slow, so some customers might not even care. It is also true that many have made the switch from a website to an app in recent years, never looking back.

ZetBet Responsible Gambling

Responsible Gambling has become increasingly important in recent years as the number of betting sites has increased, with all of them fighting for customers with enticing promotions and offers. Perhaps ironic in ZetBet's case, given the lack of promotion, but the site is nevertheless required to have the standard tools for responsible gambling these days. Some of them are:

  • Deposit limits (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Reality checks
  • Cool-off periods (24 hours, 1 week, 1 month, 6 weeks)
  • Self-exclusion (6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years)

New customers, and existing ones as well, are encouraged to start with deposit limits. By setting these, the bettors will be forced to reflect on their gambling and ultimately, they can also help limit the spending. Sometimes this might not be enough, though, and that is why ZetBet needs to have features such as self-exclusion as well.

Zetbet Customer Support

A department where it is harder for new UK sports betting sites to match the industry's most established names is customer service, so how does Zetbet Sports stack up in this area?

While help and support is offered seven days a week at Zetbet, the site does not yet have 24/7 coverage. This is a shame as it means those who like to place bets or play casino games through the night - perhaps as they work shifts - may have to wait to get support. The site does have an FAQ section that can be accessed around the clock, though, so this helps to fill in the gap.

In its mission statement, ZetBet states that "we believe in "CARE" - Customers Are Really Everything" but the inability to offer 24/7 customer service is an issue in that case. Users are directed to get in touch with Zetbet Sports customer service via live chat or email, so those who prefer to get help over the phone could also feel let down and disappointed by the department.

FAQs

Although Zetbet is one of the newest sports betting sites in the UK, customers can feel assured that it is safe to use - the site is licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission. On the safety site, Zetbet also has 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology in place.

Zetbet is one of the online betting brands to be owned and operated by a company called Marketplay Ltd, which runs a number of UK sportsbooks. However, the games that are offered on the site come from a different company called Aspire Global International, based in Malta.

To deposit on Zetbet, users follow a similar process as on other UK betting sites, heading to the cashier and selecting their preferred payment method. It is possible to use a debit card from Visa or MasterCard to make a deposit at Zetbet, with PayPal, Trustly and MuchBetter all offered.

Like a lot of the newest sports betting sites in the UK, Zetbet does not have betting apps for either iOS or Android at the present time. While Zetbet iOS and Android apps may be available in the future, for now users can place bets while on the move via the Zetbet mobile site instead.
