Luckster entered the UK gambling scene in 2022 and it's owned by a company called Marketplay Ltd. However, punters will be much more familiar with the company that operates the bookie's sportsbook and casino, named AG Communications Limited. This is done under a white-label agreement and as a result, Luckster has quite a few sister sites.
Indeed, as per the Gambling Commission, AG Communications has just under 70 (!) active domain names and all of them are white-label solutions. The company has thus made it its speciality to provide gambling products for others, mostly new betting sites, and Luckster is one of the bookies that have jumped on board.
Before reviewing some of the main sister sites, let's take a look at Luckster and whether the AG Communications backing makes it a decent bookmaker or not.
Luckster is one of the AG Communications-associated brands that I appreciate, above all thanks to an okay bet £10 get £10 welcome offer, but the sportsbook is still identical to the sisters aside from colour changes. And this sportsbook, even though it features a lot of options, is far from the best on the market all things considered.
The navigation/design of the sportsbook is rather dire, there is a lack of promotions for punters and some advanced markets are missing. One of the few positives, aside from the welcome offer, is the fact that many payment methods are accepted. However, there are so many better options out there and the white-label arrangement is too evident.
Below, we review a selection of Luckster's sister sites and as they are fundamentally the same product, we focus on the differences between them.
Just like Luckster, ZetBet was launched in 2022 and has since become a relatively well-known sports bookie, even though there is a casino section as well. The bookie is also owned by Marketplay Ltd, making it a true sister site, and the company has clearly used the two for some A/B testing.
The welcome offer is completely the same, with a bet £10 get £10 structure, but the sportsbook is a whole lot easier to navigate. This has to do with the colour scheme, which is orange on ZetBet rather than green, but it's also thanks to ZetBet having a boxed design rather than a full-width layout.
That being said, with both bookies owned by the same company and using the same sportsbook platform, we are talking about identical products apart from the aforementioned (minor) factors.
HeySpin, as the name suggests, certainly focuses more on the casino side of things rather than the sportsbook. It was launched in 2020 and is owned by Chili Partners, which shook hands with AG Communications to get the product into the UK market. This white-label arrangement means the bookie is very similar to Luckster.
The welcome offer differs slightly for the sportsbook as punters must stake £15 rather than £10 to get the £10 free bet. It was already the case with Luckster and ZetBet's offers, but HeySpin just makes it clear that AG Communications' offers rarely compete with the best sign-up deals in the UK.
The last sister site that we are going to take a look at is BzeeBet. The site came to life in 2023 and is thus one of the newest AG Communications bookies. No owner is mentioned on the site and although this is rather common with white-label sites, punters always prefer transparency and we concur.
There is nothing new with the sportsbook, nor its features, but the design differs a bit as you can see in the top navigation in the screenshot above. The welcome offer is the same as Luckster and ZetBet, which is nice, but it certainly feels more 'clunky' to navigate the site compared to the sisters.
New betting and white-label sites are often synonymous with welcome offers, as punters look to find deals they are yet to claim, and there are a few ones on AG Communications sites.
