Hopa's sister sites include a mix of casinos and sportsbooks operated directly by White Hat Gaming and others run on its white-label platform.
Notable Hopa sister sites include 21Prive, Hello Casino, Skol Casino, Slotnite, Casimba, Dream Vegas, BetTarget, and Karamba.
All of these brands share the same underlying operator, White Hat Gaming Limited, which runs over 40 UK-licensed gambling sites.
We have already alluded to Hopa as having been “through the mill”; that relates specifically to the history of Hopa’s ownership changes since its launch, which can be read about in more detail in our full Hopa review.
The important news today is that Hopa is owned by White Hat Gaming Limited (UKGC: 52894). White Hat is a pretty big player in the UK market too, with a number of brand names under their control.
We will put a few of those under the spotlight here, allowing you to decide if Hopa or another is the site for you.
Hopa is a site that does a lot of things well without being outstanding at anything. That could be an issue for “serious gamblers” but for your average Joe punter, it’s arguably a really good balance to find with nothing about Hopa a complete car crash either.
The headline negative lives in the fact that there is no horse racing covered in the sportsbook, which alienates a decent chunk of customer base immediately. The depth of betting markets on it could be stronger too with it someway of the major players.
Of course, you take the rough with the smooth and there is good news too. For one thing, the betting margins of 7.00% are reasonable whilst payment options are extensive and the casino is arguably the best thing about the site; that’s what a great range of games and a live casino will lead to.
If Hopa is best categorised as an all-round average offering that is an amendment or two from stepping into the “good” category, there must be some real hope of unlocking some gems from the Hopa sister sites.
When landing at Bet Target you will very quickly identify that it is a Hopa sister site with the two sharing a lot of characteristics, albeit without being a complete rip-off of one another.
That initial look and feel isn’t where the similarities stop either with the sportsbook again a steady offering for anyone looking to dabble.
Punters are not able to bet on horse racing, like at Hopa, and the odds appear to be replicated too with the margins coming in, again, at a respectable at 7.00%.
Over in the casino, it really does feel like a rinse and repeat of Hopa. That’s nothing to get in a huff about though; the casino is a decent offering with big name games and a real variety available to play. The welcome offer is pretty “meh” though.

Skol Casino has the word “casino” in its brand name and it is true to that; specifically, it does not offer a sportsbook option at all.
Immediately, that puts it well behind Hopa in our thinking. Unfortunately, the casino isn’t any better than what is on offer at Hopa either. In fact, you'd probably argue it is worse.
Sure, you benefit from a live casino and, again, good games that jump off a page from a branding perspective but that is ultimately it.
When you then throw into the mix some heavily termed welcome bonuses and factor in that the array of games is less than a lot who operate in the same space, it really is hard to get too excited about what it brings to the table.
White Hat Gaming do a good job of creating a very different look and feel from the same template with Mr Ben feeling completely different from those mentioned to this point, despite actually being very close when you do a side-by-side comparison.
Horse racing odds are once again a screaming omission from what is otherwise a steady-eddy sportsbook offering with the odds, and therefore the margin, another straight rip from the Hopa and Bet Target.
That’s not a bad thing with margins of 7.00% passable but, with a casino offer that is comparable too, it doesn’t exactly paint a picture of why you’d choose Mr Ben over the other sister sites.
