Founded in 2024, Gentleman Jim looks to offer a more pristine betting experience to the market, with a gentlemanly feel.
The Gentleman Jim mobile app is available on both iOS and Android, and user ratings are pretty much identical.
Both apps are, in fact, rated the exact same, which is really rare to see. For the same rating to be in place shows that this is somewhat of a fair score, but from the same reviews, too, is extremely intriguing.
To find out how well the Gentleman Jim app actually performs, you can see our full test and journey further down, as well as screenshots from the process just below.

If you would like to find out how to register on the Gentleman Jim App, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
You will find the 'Join' button in the top-right corner of the app. You can also use our links above to be brought straight to Gentleman Jim.
To start the process, you will be asked to provide an email address and a password for your account, and then tap 'Create Account'
Next, you will be asked to enter your personal information such as full name, date of birth, address telephone number. Tap on 'Continue' once you have done this.
At the bottom of the page, you will also be asked about which offers you would like to receive, and after tapping 'Next', you will be asked to provide your occupation details to personalise offers.
You can skip this step, however, the site asks for your 'Net Deposit Limits' in the final step of the process, which is a regular thing when signing up to bookmakers now.
While there is a lack of payment methods at Gentleman Jim, the bookie has actually recently added Apple Pay to its repertoire. That is fantastic news indeed, while punters can still use standard debit cards as well.
Apple Pay is not even the main perk either, as Gentleman Jim has set its minimum deposit amount at just £1. This is something we see on most of the bookie's sister sites as well, so despite the lack of methods, punters can be happy.
Below, we have collected everything you need to know about deposits and withdrawals on the Gentleman Jim app:

If you are new to the Gentleman Jim app and would like some assistance with depositing funds, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
Once you have entered the app, you must tap the profile icon in the top right. Then, tap the orange 'Deposit' box that appears.

Following this, you will be taken to the transaction area, and here you must enter the amount of your deposit in the box, or choose from the pre-determined amounts. Then, tap 'Pay Using Debit Card'.
Finally, you will be asked to provide your payment information to the site, once this is done, tap 'Pay Now'. In our test, we had to verify the payment with our bank, but there were no issues past that.
If you are unsure about how to withdraw funds on the Gentleman Jim app, you can follow our step-by-step instructions below for some assistance:
As we did when depositing, once again, head to the profile menu via the icon in the top right. Then, tap the 'Withdraw' option shown in the list.

After entering the cashier, you will be shown your balance above the withdrawal text box - once again, you can enter your own amount (of at least £1) or use one of the listed options.

Following this, you will be shown that your withdrawal is pending, and it states that it may arrive instantly or take two business days to reach your account.
Thankfully, we got our money on the earlier side of this timeframe, with the Visa Direct payment proving to be a success, Indeed, our money arrived straight away.
Just from opening the app, it is very apparent that this is a Playbook Gaming site, given the look and feel of it. Of course, this is not necessarily a bad thing, but if you are not keen on other examples, it may not be for you.
The interface, as will continue to be a theme, is extremely recognisable and this is cemented with the site's focus on one sport in its bottom menu. In most cases, it is either football or horse racing, and here it is the latter.
For what it is worth, it is also the case for those just entering the app, with horse racing shown predominantly on the landing page.
Despite the focus on the sport, though, the area certainly lacks a little. Whilst live streaming across multiple tracks is available, and international races are open markets, the app does not offer a range of good markets.
Punters are given access to the history of the prices available, as well as some statistical insight. Past that, though, it is rather basic, with only win and forecasts/tricasts available.
Football, in many respects, follows on from this. Whilst there is a strong range of fixtures available, the markets are slightly lacking, with most of the best football bookmakers offering more.
What is a nice touch, though, is the fact that you can see popular build-a-bets, which is something to take note of.
There is a lot to like about the Gentleman Jim casino section, even if it is extremely similar to its sister sites. Notably, the interface is the same, but with it being pretty solid, we cannot complain too much.
Customers can easily access a range of different slot games from several different providers, which is a huge tick from the off. This means that games like 'Big Bass Splash' from Pragmatic Play are as easily accessible as 'Code of Cairo' from Fat Panda.
Something which also helps is the fact that customers can look for providers in the app through the search bar, making them much easier to access.
Finally, the 'Live Casino' area is much better, mainly because it actually has its own section. We have often seen it tied into the main casino bit, making it hard to find games, something which becomes rather frustrating.
All in all, a solid area that does a job.
Finding support on the Gentleman Jim app is really easy and can be done in a few ways, either by speaking to someone or by browsing the FAQ section.
If you prefer the former, the easiest choice is the live chat, which is probably the fastest way to get any support from the site in our view. When we had a query, we tapped the 'Chat' icon shown in the top menu, and then we were connected to someone instantly.
However, the FAQs can also be useful, and if you head to the 'Help and Contact' area of the 'Profile' menu, you will be shown a large section of text, which helps with different queries. Unfortunately, though, there is no search feature for this.

Looking at the app itself, rather than another Playbook Gaming option, it is difficult to really suggest that it is worth trying. Ultimately, Gentleman Jim is quite basic, and whilst there are some cool features, there is nothing really worth signing up for.
The sign-up offer is not brilliant, whilst the markets do not have any factor to keep you coming back. Partner this with a lack of promotions, and the shiny £1 deposit minimum sticker quickly gets rendered obsolete.
Most, if not every customer, would prefer more from the site than just being able to deposit a small amount.
