Fafabet was launched in 2021 and its sportsbook is provided by the well-known FSB Tech, which is also in business with Betgoodwin and Thepools to name a few. This should make for a decent foundation, but punters are right to have questions still. In this review, therefore, we will take a look at everything you need to know about the bookmaker.

Quite clearly, Fafabet is an attempt at attracting punters who have grown tired of the bets bookies in the UK. It might sound like a good business idea, given that many punters are constantly searching for new betting options, but the reality is a bit different. Fafabet is just one of many new betting sites that use a well-known provider (FSB Tech in this case) to compete, but the problem is that it doesn't really stand out in any way.
The betting margins were much lower than we expected, among the best in the UK, but apart from that there is no real reason to sign up on the site. Payment methods are severely lacking, the customer support is subpar and the sportsbook offering ends at decent. These days, most punters want excellence on all of these fronts and Fafabet fails to deliver that.

Fafabet is one of the new betting sites in the UK, having launched in 2021, and anyone who has had a glance at the sportsbook might think it looks familiar. That is because Fafabet's sportsbook is provided by the well-known FSB Tech, which also provides its services for prominent bookmakers such as ThePools, which we have reviewed, as well as the horse racing-focused Fitzdares.
Although this promises for a solid foundation, punters are right to ask questions about Fafabet and the quality of this betting site. In this review, therefore, we will take a look at everything you need to know about the site. From the payment methods to the customer support, reading this should help you make an informed decision about whether to sign up or not.
Although the sportsbook is provided by FSB Tech, Fafabet is owned and operated by Taichi Tech Limited which is licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission in the UK. In other words, it is safe for punters to sign up on the site, at least from a legal point of view. The harsh reality is that the license offers no guarantees for quality.
On Trustpilot, Fafabet has a rather poor rating of 2.3 out of five stars. This is not uncommon for betting sites, we must point out, but it is still worth taking a look at. Most of the customer complaints appear to be about the KYC process, i.e. verifying an account on the site, as well as the latter stopping customers from withdrawing money.
Fafabet has also registered some poor customer comments at the bottom of this page, and it might be worth looking at these comments before making a decision.
There is a welcome offer in place for new customers at Fafabet, although it is not among the best offers in the UK. Punters who sign up will get 50% back of potential first-day losses as a free bet up to £50, as well as a casino bonus of up to £20. We have never been big fans of offers that promote losses, or rather those that bank on them.
On the other hand, Fafabet also has a second part of this deal, which will mainly come into play if no losses have been made. Then, Fafabet will issue 50% of the highest qualifying bet made (any sportsbook market with a minimum odds of evens). This makes the offer a tad better, but we would have preferred to see a bet £10 get £20 deal, for example.
The free bets will be valid for 7 days, with no wagering requirements attached, while the casino bonus will have to be wagered 35x. This is rather high even for UK casino bonuses and thus might not even be worth your time.
Operator | Welcome Offer | Bonus Code | Claim Offer | |
---|---|---|---|---|
| Welcome Offer Up to £50 Free Bet + £20 Casino Bonus | No code required | Claim Offer | New 18+ New Customers only. Deposit and bet on any sports with min odds of 2.0. Get 50% Back of your first days' losses as a Free bet up to £50+£20 Casino Bonus. T&Cs apply. |
If the welcome offer was a bit underwhelming, the promotions section is a bit better with quite a few to make use of. Football and horse racing have mainly been favoured here, as you would expect, and best odds guaranteed is in place for UK and Irish races. Another promotion for the sports of kings is a free bet refund of up to £10, which will be triggered if your backed horse finishes second to the SP favourite.
Football punters can place bet builder bets and get the losses back as a free bet of up to £20, or a £5 free bet regardless of whether the bet builder wins or not. There is also an acca boost of up to 50% in place, but it is not the most generous we have seen. Customers at Fafabet can also find a few promotions for tennis, such as an acca boost, which is indeed nice to see.
Overall, the promotions section at Fafabet is okay and the diversity in sports offerings is one of the main advantages. Most of the promotions are rather basic, though, which also mean they have a tough time standing up against the best promotions in the UK.
One of the most important things for punters these days is to be able to use their preferred payment method. As such, most of the big betting sites offer a plethora of payment methods these days, such as the e-wallet Skrill or the pre-paid solution Paysafecard. Fafabet has none of the popular options, only accepting deposits and withdrawals via debit card.
Those who prefer fast withdrawals, therefore, will have to choose one of the many bookmakers that offer this. The minimum deposit is not £5 either, unlike most of the competition, and Fafabet significantly falls behind on the payment methods front. Below, we have compiled the little you need to know about deposits and withdrawals at Fafabet.
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Max. Limit | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |
---|---|---|---|---|
Visa | £10 | £10,000 | No fee | Instant |
Mastercard | £10 | £10,000 | No fee | Instant |
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Max. Limit | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |

Visa | £10 | Not specified | No fee | 1-3 business days |
Mastercard | £10 | Not specified | No fee | 1-3 business days |
Considering that the sportsbook is provided by FSB Tech, you would expect a certain standard here. Indeed, punters who sign up at Fafabet will find that there are just under 30 different sports available. Horse racing appears to be the main focus of Fafabet, taking all the top slots on the home page above football, which is the other heavy hitter.
Taking the Premier League odds as a reference for the football coverage, we found that there were around 200 markets available for each game and this is significantly behind the best football bookmakers. There is a bet builder available for most games, but it must be said that this is lacking some important markets such as player card and player shots on target. There is room for improvement, in other words.
As for the horse racing coverage, punters will be happy to find out that Fafabet has meetings from all over the world. We also quite like the design of this section, with all of the races being easily accessible thanks to the country categorisation. However, Fafabet does not offer live streaming of horse racing and this is a big disadvantage, with most bookmakers offering it these days.
Moving on, we also tested the betting margins of Fafabet as this is something that most punters tend to overlook when choosing a new bookie. Our test showed a very low average of 5.2%, which is currently among the best scores in the UK. In other words, one reason to sign up on Fafabet is indeed the betting margin, knowing that the bookmaker's fees will not be excessive.
In addition to the aforementioned sports, as well as less prominent ones, punters at Fafabet will also find a section for Esports betting and virtual games. Some of the more popular Esports on the site include Call of Duty, CS2 and League of Legends. It is not the best we have seen for Esports, but it will do for the average punters who might just want to place a bet on the action every now and then.
While there is a section for 'Specials', the selection is rather limited with only odds for the next Eurovision winner. The politics section is indeed better with odds for the UK General Election, as well as betting options for the US Presidential Election. Overall, Fafabet's sportsbook has a lot to offer but this was expected given the backing of FBS Tech.

Fafabet's casino offers customers the chance to play a massive array of slots, including big-name games such as Centurion Megaways and John Hunter and the Mayan Gods. Online slots, blackjack, roulette and baccarat make up most of the selection, with no online bingo available.
Live casino games are increasingly popular in the UK, with Fafabet having a separate section for this department. Here, players have the choice of dozens of live roulette and blackjack games, with all budgets covered from casual players to VIP customers. Live games such as Cash or Crash, Dragon Tiger and Side Bet City are also available to try out.
While there is no dedicated live poker hall at Fafabet at the moment, fans of the game can test out their skills in a handful of rooms at the Fafabet live casino. The choice is quite limited, however, so those who value the chance to play live poker highly may need to look elsewhere.
Jackpot slots are always among the most eye-catching games to play at new UK online casinos. Fafabet offers games such as Treasure Nile and Cash Splash that have big prizes up for grabs. However, the largest jackpots tend to be the Mega Moolah games that are offered at Fafabet. At the time of producing this complete review of Fafabet, some games had a jackpot of around £5.5 million in play, while another series of slots had a potential top prize of over £8 million.
Hundreds of different slots make up an impressive selection, but filtering through the library on offer at the Fafabet casino is not straightforward. Users can type in the name of a particular game if they are hoping to find it, but there is no option to filter the library by a certain provider. Speaking of which, Fafabet's online casino does appear to be missing games from some of the biggest and best slots studios around, though overall it is fair to say the choice is quite strong.
Having said that, the Fafabet casino is perhaps more appealing to people who just want to try out a few slots every now and again. With big jackpots up for grabs, there is certainly the chance to scoop a truly life-changing sum of money at the Fafabet casino, but the site lacks any particular unique special features of note.
Mobile apps have become increasingly important in the world of sports betting and Fafabet has made sure to follow the trend. While it is not one of the best betting apps on the market, customers at Fafabet can download an app both for iOS and Android. It used to just be available for the former, but now Samsung users and others will be happy too.
The app clearly has some issues, though, with an average rating of 3.4 and 2 out of five stars on the App Store and Google Play Store respectively. A lot of the poor reviews are about the actual bookmaker, not so much the app, and this should be taken into consideration. But being a new betting site, it is only normal that the app is far from perfect.
Customer support is an area where new UK sports betting sites often struggle initially. The resources required to provide 24/7 customer support are often not available, but this is not the case at Fafabet where users are promised they can get the help they need at any time.
However, the only way to reach customer support at Fafabet appears to be via email. While responses to messages that are sent to the customer service team via [email protected] are speedy and friendly, many people would rather be able to use an alternative option.
A live chat icon is available on the site, but tapping on it starts a chat with a bot. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but we tried both asking the easy questions and requesting contact with an agent. The bot did not understand any of our prompts, though, which was very surprising and means the support is indeed rather poor.
Fafabet also used to have a FAQ page, which is always handy, but this is no longer the case and the only place customers can find answers is in the terms and conditions. We all know how frustrating it can be to read the T&Cs, so this is far from ideal. Overall, Fafabet has some work to do when it comes to customer support.

They do not comply with safer gambling. They dont have any programs in place to flag up anyone who could potentially be vulnerable. Huge breech of licence. Will be reported to the gambling commission as they have somehow given this company a licence to operate in the UK but they dont seem regulated what so ever.
