CopyBet offers several different methods for deposits, and the minimum amount is set at £10 for all payment methods. It's a shame CopyBet is missing some useful deposit methods, such as PayPal and Trustly. But card deposits with Visa and Mastercard or Instant Bank Transfers should be more than enough for most punters.
Below, we have collected everything you need to know about CopyBet and depositing funds, from the payment methods accepted to the specific terms for each.
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Max. Limit | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |
---|---|---|---|---|
Visa | £10 | £1,000 | No fee | Instant |
Mastercard | £10 | £1,000 | No fee | Instant |
Instant Bank Transfer | £10 | Not specified | No fee | Instant |
During the making of our guide for CopyBet deposits, we noticed that the betting site has Apple Pay, Google Pay, Neteller and Skrill listed as options. However, when we tapped on either of them, we were faced with an error message. This message stated that we already had a deposit with another method, despite our account being empty of funds at the time.
We were restricted to the first deposit method, which in our case was a Visa debit card, as well as the Instant Bank Transfer option. We suspect that CopyBet is 'phasing out' the aforementioned payment methods as only the debit card and Instant Bank Transfer options are showing in the CopyBet app cashier.

If you haven't deposited funds into a CopyBet UK account before, read our step-by-step guide below for some assistance. In the interest of clarity, we deposited through the CopyBet app.
Once you have opened the CopyBet app, tap the ‘Home’ icon in the bottom left corner of the screen, and then choose ‘Deposit’ option.
In the cashier, the first thing to decide is the payment method. Copybet offers a decent amount of methods, and for first-time payments, you are eligible for the bet £10 get £50 sign-up offer if you use the Instant Banking method.
Instant Banking is available for customers from HSBC, Barclays, NatWest, Lloyds Bank and more.
Once you have selected your payment method, enter the amount you would like to deposit and then tap the yellow ‘Deposit’ button.
For first-time deposits, you will be asked to provide some identification information through an in-app verification process.
After this, you will be taken to a new page to provide your payment details. Then, tap the yellow ‘Pay X’ button.
In our test, we deposited the minimum amount of £10 with a Visa debit card.
Finally, you will be taken to a confirmation screen stating that your deposit has been successful, and you are free to begin betting with CopyBet.
CopyBet offers a standard minimum deposit set at £10 for all payment methods including debit cards, Neteller, Skrill and Instant Bank Transfers.
The maximum deposit limit is also lower than most UK bookmakers, set at £1000 for all methods. If you are a high roller, we recommend depositing at Bet365 for limits up to £100,000 per transaction.
CopyBet offers rather average deposit limits for both Visa and Mastercard debit cards, starting from £10 and going up to £1000. There are no fees and the deposits are instant.
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Max. Limit | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |
---|---|---|---|---|
Visa | £10 | £1,000 | No fee | Instant |
Mastercard | £10 | £1,000 | No fee | Instant |
Instant Bank transfers are starting to gain popularity among bookmakers and punters alike. It is still limited to the bank you are with, but more and more banks are setting it up.
With CopyBet, Instant Bank Transfers start at £ 10 and go up to £1000, with no fees and, of course, instant deposits. Instant Banking is available for customers from HSBC, Barclays, NatWest, and Lloyds Bank.

Instant Bank Transfer | £10 | Not specified | No fee | Instant |
At this time, CopyBet has fairly limited payment methods compared to the top online betting sites in the UK.
Notably, PayPal, Trustly, and Paysafecard are all missing from the deposit methods offered at CopyBet. Regular bank transfers are also missing from CopyBet, but Instant Bank Transfers are far superior unless you want to deposit a large amount of money.
If you are experiencing issues depositing money on CopyBet, it could be for several reasons. Below are some issues we have noticed and solutions to help you resolve them.
