CopyBet Deposit Methods and Terms

CopyBet offers several different methods for deposits, and the minimum amount is set at £10 for all payment methods. It's a shame CopyBet is missing some useful deposit methods, such as PayPal and Trustly. But card deposits with Visa and Mastercard or Instant Bank Transfers should be more than enough for most punters.

Below, we have collected everything you need to know about CopyBet and depositing funds, from the payment methods accepted to the specific terms for each.

CopyBet Deposit Methods Locked

During the making of our guide for CopyBet deposits, we noticed that the betting site has Apple Pay, Google Pay, Neteller and Skrill listed as options. However, when we tapped on either of them, we were faced with an error message. This message stated that we already had a deposit with another method, despite our account being empty of funds at the time.

CopyBet Apple Pay Error

We were restricted to the first deposit method, which in our case was a Visa debit card, as well as the Instant Bank Transfer option. We suspect that CopyBet is 'phasing out' the aforementioned payment methods as only the debit card and Instant Bank Transfer options are showing in the CopyBet app cashier.

CopyBet Minimum Deposit

CopyBet offers a standard minimum deposit set at £10 for all payment methods including debit cards, Neteller, Skrill and Instant Bank Transfers.

The maximum deposit limit is also lower than most UK bookmakers, set at £1000 for all methods. If you are a high roller, we recommend depositing at Bet365 for limits up to £100,000 per transaction.

CopyBet and Debit Cards

CopyBet offers rather average deposit limits for both Visa and Mastercard debit cards, starting from £10 and going up to £1000. There are no fees and the deposits are instant.

Missing Deposit Methods on CopyBet UK

At this time, CopyBet has fairly limited payment methods compared to the top online betting sites in the UK.

Notably, PayPal, Trustly, and Paysafecard are all missing from the deposit methods offered at CopyBet. Regular bank transfers are also missing from CopyBet, but Instant Bank Transfers are far superior unless you want to deposit a large amount of money.

Why is CopyBet Not Letting Me Deposit?

If you are experiencing issues depositing money on CopyBet, it could be for several reasons. Below are some issues we have noticed and solutions to help you resolve them.

CopyBet Account Not Verified

  • Issue: If you do not have a verified CopyBet account, you will not be allowed to deposit.
  • Solution: Make sure you upload the necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) documents. They are typically reviewed within 48 hours, and if successful, you will be able to make a deposit after that.

Incorrect Card/Bank Details

  • Issue: If your payment method was declined, your details could be incorrect. It could also be your bank blocking the transaction if the details are correct.
  • Solution: Double-check that your card/bank details are correct. If so, we recommend contacting either customer support or your bank's support.

Insufficient Funds or Deposit Limits

  • Issue: You might not have enough funds in your account, or you may have exceeded your deposit limits on CopyBet.
  • Solution: Check to make sure you have sufficient funds in your account or that you have not exceeded the deposit limits you set in your account.

Technical Issues

  • Issue: CopyBet is still a relatively new bookmaker, and technical issues may arise.
  • Solution: Check for updates if you are using the app, or uninstall and reinstall it again. If you are using the website, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
