BetVictor was launched in 1946 and is considered to be one of the biggest betting sites in the world, not just operating in the UK market. Owned by BV Gaming Limited, the parent company recently decided to expand its operations with the white-label additions of Betano, Parimatch and talkSPORT BET.
Essentially, BV Gaming Limited provides the sportsbook and casino products for these three betting sites, while the actual ownership is in other hands. For example, Parimatch was already an established betting site elsewhere when it decided to enter the UK market, partnering with BV Gaming and thus providing some familiarity to new customers.
Below, we review each of BetVictor's sister sites and as they are fundamentally the same product, we focus on the differences between the three.
Betano is the latest addition to the BV Gaming family, launching in May 2024, and it has already become a semi-popular betting site among punters. Above all, this is thanks to the sponsorship of the football club Aston Villa, showcasing the bookie's logo during Premier League games.
A generous welcome offer is available for new customers, more specifically a bet £10 get £30 deal, and this should only help attract more punters. However, there are a lack of promotions on the site with odds boosts and lucky dip being the only ones. This is clearly not enough to compete with the best sites out there.
As such, when we reviewed Betano, it was given a 7/10 but that could improve with time, especially considering that the bookie is so new to the UK market.
Out of the three sister sites, Parimatch is certainly the more established one as it launched in Ukraine back in 2000. The UK entrance took place in 2020, but sponsorships with several big sports teams - such as Chelsea and Leicester - have helped make the brand a well-known one among UK punters.
Those who decide to sign up at Parimatch will be able to claim £30 in free bets, just like Betano, while there are some good promotions as well. Only a few payment methods are offered, more specifically debit cards and Apple Pay, as the popular e-wallet PayPal has been removed from the BV Gaming empire.
In our complete review of the site, we gave Parimatch a score of 8/10. It shows that the bookie has been active elsewhere prior to the UK launch and the backing of BV Gaming has made for a great combo.
talkSPORT BET is the perfect example of a white-label betting site, with the brand being very popular in the radio and broadcasting industry. In an attempt to make the most of this popularity, talkSPORT decided to team up with BV Gaming in 2022 and so far, the strategy has been somewhat successful.
Compared to Parimatch, although the promotions on offer are good, the sign-up deal is nowhere near as good as punters must stake a minimum of £20 (at most £40). This bet is then matched in free bets. talkSPORT BET also suffers from BV Gaming's limited payment methods, though the minimum amounts are at least low.
In our complete review of the site, talkSPORT BET received a score of 8/10 and that is largely due to the strong backing of BV Gaming. Some promotions also help the bookie stand out, above all the event-based ones.
We should preface this by saying that both sites are very comprehensive, as you would expect given the backing of BV Gaming. However, while the sportsbook and casino sections are identical, the two sites do differ slightly and this shows especially with the welcome offers. Here, Parimatch comes out on top and the importance of this cannot be overstated.
talkSPORT BET has the potential, especially given the large audience it has, but it still very much acts as one of the new betting sites in the UK. With BV Gaming providing a majority of the product, one can certainly demand more ambition - for lack of a better word - and Parimatch handles this much better.
There is no shortage of welcome offers in the UK and the BetVictor Sister sites, i.e. Parimatch and talkSPORT BET, also have sign-up deals to claim.
