Is 10Bet Worth Joining?
10Bet has been around for quite some time now, but I would say they are still underachieving compared to the best bookmakers in the UK.
To start, the 10bet welcome offers are not exactly providing good value with an 8x wagering on the sports bonus and a whopping 50x on the casino offer. Most sports signup offers are no wagering so it's not a great start for new players.
There seems to be a wide range of promotions for existing customers until you realise it's the same promotion "£5 free bet for betting £40+" on 10+ sports. I guess it's to give the impression of a good range of promotions but it falls apart quickly on closer inspection.
The 2-goal lead promotion is a great feature, though, but it is found on a few better bookies, including Bet365, BoyleSports, BetMGM, Ladbrokes, Coral and more.
In terms of the sportsbook, it is quite comprehensive, with 30+ sports, 100's markets and even live streaming for horse racing. The margins are okay at 6.61% in our tests, but nothing special.
Overall, 10Bet is certainly not a bad option, but do not expect good value in the welcome offer or promotions for existing customers, and do not expect anything that can compete with the very best bookmakers in the UK.
10Bet Alternatives Reviewed
Although there are no betting sites under the same ownership as 10Bet, there are some pretty good alternatives in the UK.
BoyleSports
BoyleSports, like 10bet, has been around for quite some time and is still fighting for a position alongside the top betting sites. The design and navigation of the sites are not too similar, truth be told, but the similarities can be found with the sportsbook offering. Indeed, both bookies offer the 'Early Payout' if your backed football team goes up by two goals.
The Irish-based bookie also has quite a lot of promotions for other sports, which is something that 10bet has decided to focus on as well. Overall, they are both solid betting sites with decent casino sections as well, still fighting with the top bookmakers (and this urge to prove themselves works in punters' favour).
Virgin Bet
Continuing with another bookie that offers the early payout, which no doubt will come in handy, we have put forward Virgin Bet. While launched fairly recently in the UK, more specifically in 2019, it's backed by the well-known LiveScore Group and the sportsbook is also provided by Kambi.
There are plenty of promotions for punters to make use of, the app is brilliant (as you would expect with that ownership) and the sportsbook has great market depth. We would even say that Virgin Bet is one of our favourite bookies in the UK, and Kambi's sportsbook design is rather similar to 10bet.
Midnite
Ending with a newer and slightly differen option, we have Midnite. Most punters might know the bookie as a site with a focus on e-sports, but the truth is that Midnite caters to a much larger demographic than just e-sports enthusiasts. Indeed, with a nice design and a comprehensive sportsbook, there is a lot to like.
Withdrawals from the site are fast, there is a good app to download and the minimum deposit is set at £5. In short, Midnite has a lot of what the best betting sites offer, so any 10bet customer would probably be very pleased to bet on the site. Then again, it's slightly different compared to 10bet overall, so keep that in mind.
