Nottingham Forest faced Man City in a huge game in the race for Champions League football. Arsenal dropped points and are clinging onto their league title hopes. This and more in the latest PL odds recap.

Gunners Drop Points as Goals Dry Up

Arsenal again dropped points, which allowed the leaders to tighten their grip on the title. The Gunners aren’t firing on all cylinders and barely managed a point against fellow strugglers Manchester United. Declan Rice’s goal salvaged a point in a toothless performance.

Mikel Arteta was clearly unhappy with his team's performance post-match and may feel like the title is slipping away from reach. They are 66/1 to win the Premier League title this season.

Liverpool, meanwhile, overcame a potential scare against Southampton on Saturday to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

They found themselves one nil down on the stroke of half-time after a Will Smallbone goal came against the odds. However, the Reds prevailed thanks to Darwin Nunez and a brace of Mohamed Salah penalties. The win saw them go 15 clear at the top of the pile and are now 1/50 to win the title.

Hudson-Odoi Wins Top Four Six-Pointer for Forest

Nottingham Forest hosted Manchester City in a six-pointer in the teams’ pursuit of the top four places. A tight-fought game was decided by a solitary goal, as Callum Hudson-Odoi won all three points for Forest.

The win left Forest in pole position to make the top four and the chance to play in the Champions League. They currently sit in third place and are 5/4 to make the top four spots.

On the losing end of the result was Manchester City. Pep Guardiola’s teams woes continue for another week and the chance of them missing out on a CL spot is becoming more likely by the game. His team are 8/15 to make the top four.

Manchester City dropping points left the door open for Chelsea to enter the CL spots. The Blues’ faced relegation-favourites Leicester at home in a game they just about managed to win. After Cole Palmer’s missed spot-kick, Marc Cucurella came in clutch. Their 1-0 win leaves them 4/5 to make the top four.

Wolves Move Closer to Premier League Survival

Leicester’s aforementioned loss felt somewhat inevitable, as does their relegation from the Premier League. The Foxes are really struggling this season, and as of yet, Ruud van Nistelrooy has shown little promise in pulling them away from danger. They’re 1/25 to go down this season.

Wolves picked up an important point on Saturday, especially since they were missing star man Matheus Cunha. The Brazilian has scored 13 this season and has bagged the majority of his side’s goals. Nonetheless, they drew 1-1 with a flying Everton side. Wolves are now 11/2 to go down this season.

Ipswich lost again, and the defeat was even more damaging as they watched Wolves pick up a point. They were downed by a single Ismaila Sarr goal and are now 6 points away from safety. They’re 1/12 to drop back down to the Championship.

Pep Guardiola Suffers Another Defeat as City Boss

Ruud van Nistelrooy is doing little to keep his job as Leicester boss, and this is reflected in his odds to be the next manager to leave post, with him sitting at 4/6. It may come down to whether Leicester can see him working out in the long term and if he could bring them back out of the Championship.

Ange Postecoglu saw his side come from behind as they managed a point after being 2-0 down versus Bournemouth. Who knows what Daniel Levy will do? He’s 9/2 to be the next manager sacked.

Despite signing a contract extension this season, there is a slim chance Pep Guardiola may not be Manchester City's manager next season. He just cannot seem to get his team going in Rodri’s absence, and even if he isn’t sacked, he could call it a day himself. He’s 20/1 to be the next PL manager to leave post.

Salah Sees Double and Dispatches Two Spotkicks

Salah scored twice in Liverpool’s victory over Southampton, with both coming from the penalty spot. His brace took his tally up to 27 for the season, and now clearly in the lead for the golden boot. He’s 1/20 to win it.

Alexander Isak scored in Newcastle’s defeat against Brighton. His penalty wasn’t enough to gain his side any points, but for better his standing in the race for the golden boot. He’s now scored 19 league goals this season and is 25/1 to win the golden boot.

Cole Palmer is falling away in the race for the golden boot, and this wasn’t helped by his missed penalty in Chelsea’s win over Leicester. He is now 250/1 to win the golden boot, currently 13 behind leader Salah.
