Another big week in League One has just taken place and there have been changes across the table. However, a West Yorkshire derby has perhaps left us with the most to discuss.
Below, we have collected the top teams and their respective odds to win the title in the 2025/26 League One season.
We start at the top of the odds and the top of the table, where Cardiff City are sitting rather pretty after the international break. The Bluebirds drew with Stockport County away from home this weekend, but this will not be too much of a worry.
Dave Challinor's side are strong, so to pick up a late point is a big result, considering when they managed to score. To add to this, they have a game in hand after the break, so whilst they are top on 17 points, they could be on 20 points after that game is played.
Sitting in second is Bradford City, and after this weekend's result, we might have to seriously consider them as a potential automatic contender. This weekend, they beat Huddersfield Town, who are one of the favourites for the title.
It was not just a beating, too; the Bantams humiliated their West Yorkshire rivals, scoring three goals in the first half.
So far, they have beaten two of last season's play-off teams in Stockport and Wycombe, whilst also beating Luton and now Huddersfield. They are a serious threat and could be a shout for a Top Six spot at the very least.
Below, we have collected the top teams - aside from the big favourites - and their respective odds to finish top 6 in the 2025/26 League One season.
Starting with two teams in the league title section feels weird; however, considering how clustered it is below them, it feels only right to give them a bit of space before going into everything else.
Barnsley sit in third with a game in hand over Bradford, so things could very quickly change. However, they now have 16 points, with their latest win coming in a nervy game against Reading. A five-goal thriller, with them scoring twice in the 50th minute to wrap things up.
Tarn look very solid, and Conor Hourihane has them playing some excellent stuff so far this season.
Below them, Stevenage are in a similar position, having a game in hand. However, the only difference is that they drew this weekend, yet still sit on 16 points. A 1-1 draw with Mansfield is not too inspiring, but they are still in a fantastic position. Even in the odds, they are at 9/4 for a Top Six spot, which could represent value.
For Doncaster and Huddersfield, it was not a good weekend, with both losing fairly poorly. Donny lost 3-0 against play-off pushing Wigan, whilst the Terriers lost convincingly against their local rivals, Bradford.
Elsewhere of note, Lincoln grabbed a 1-0 win against Burton this weekend, which has pushed them up to seventh. Right now, they are only a goal away from being inside the top six, considering they are on 15 points.
Luton Town could head back into the play-offs with a win in their game in hand. However, their loss to Plymouth this weekend does not look great. Nevertheless, it could be a sign that the latter can push into a play-off position in the near future.
Below, we have collected the top four teams and their respective odds to be relegated in the 2025/26 League One season.

It was a sea of red at the bottom of the League One table this weekend. This does not leave much confidence in you.
Peterborough start things off for us at the bottom of the league. However, they were actually able to get three points against Wycombe Wanderers. A strong first-half performance was enough to see the Chairboys, who have struggled so far this season. It is a first win for Posh, but it does not take them off the foot of the table.
Above them is Blackpool, who were one of my play-off picks for the season - that's going well, isn't it? Northampton, who were one of my picks to go down, picked up a big three points at home and the Tangerines are looking troubled - again, going well isn't it?
Burton have not done themselves any favours with this weekend's loss to Lincoln, and they remain in the bottom four, which is quickly looking separated from the rest of the division.
Reading, Port Vale and Wycombe then sit on five points each, and it is the former who occupy the last relegation spot for now. A win for Vale takes them outside of the bottom four, though they have the best defensive record of anyone in that 'pack', so to speak.
Rotherham sit in 18th on seven points, then Plymouth on nine. There is already a gap emerging, and teams could quickly get stuck.
