There has been a change at the top of the Championship table after this weekend's action, and it has been coming for some time. At the bottom of the division, it was a lot more of the same story.
Below, we have collected the top teams and their respective odds to win the title in the 2025/26 Championship season.

Last week, it was Coventry getting level with Ipswich in the odds, but now, the Sky Blues are the favourites to win the Championship title this season. They have odds at 5/2, which is a bit of a shock after the weekend's results.
In Saturday's early kick-off, Frank Lampard's side were dominant against Sheffield Wednesday, adding another five goals to their tally for the season, which now stands at 27 goals. A rather staggering amount.
It is difficult to contest the argument that they will be league champions based on their current situation. Scoring for fun and conceding barely any in comparison is a match made in Coventry, it seems.
They are also the only club in England's top four divisions that have not lost a game yet this season. Fantastic Frank Lampard.
Sitting behind them is Middlesbrough, who lost their first game at the weekend, which extends their bad spell. Their last win came four games ago and the loss to Portsmouth will certainly be a bit of a blow.
They have a gap to third place, whilst Rob Edwards has the international break to fix things. He certainly must take that chance if Boro are to keep themselves in the argument.
We've spoken about the favourites and the third favourites. However, we have yet to discuss Ipswich Town's weekend.
Whilst they are no longer the title favourites, they picked up a huge win against their local rivals, Norwich City. In fact, it was their first East Anglian derby win in 16 years. A huge result, which could really boost the Tractor Boys.
Below, we have collected the top teams - aside from the big favourites - and their respective odds to finish top 6 in the 2025/26 Championship season.
After a lot of nothing in midweek, the Championship delivered this weekend with some variety in the results across the board, something which is always welcomed.
It starts in third place, where Leicester City picked up a nice win against Swansea away from home. The Foxes have been struggling for goals recently, but the fact that they put three past the Swans is a positive sign.
Preston North End continued the positive run, with a 2-0 win against Charlton. There was a lot to like about this win for PNE, largely because they kept a home clean sheet in a convincing win. Paul Heckingbottom has got his side playing some good football, maybe I was wrong to doubt them before the season got up and running.
Stoke then sit in fifth, in a bit of a similar position to Middlesbrough. They started excellently, but a loss and three draws in their last four games is not great, especially with the latest draw coming against a lacklustre Blackburn side this weekend.
QPR round off the top six, and their win against Bristol City has rounded off a fantastic few weeks. After their hammering against Coventry, it seemed like it could be a long season, but they have bounced back excellently.
West Brom's loss means that they will have to wait to get back into the top six, but they are only a point off. The league remains very close generally, with 16th-placed Birmingham City only sitting three points away from fifth. Tight.
Below, we have collected the top four teams and their respective odds to be relegated in the 2025/26 Championship season.
Well, it was a dreadful week for those at the bottom, given there is now an actual gap between them and the outside, even if it is only a slim one.
It starts, unsurprisingly at this point, with Sheffield United who lost again. This time, it was Hull City who picked up three points against the Blades, a team that have been struggling a bit themselves.
Sheffield Wednesday's battering at the hands of Coventry City will remain the big focus of that game, despite the planned protest at Hillsborough. Perhaps, though, the result will be a bigger sign of the issues at the club than a protest could have been.
Finally, Oxford United were beaten narrowly by Watford, who have also been rather poor this season. The Ox's have not been great recently, and now look pretty solid in the bottom three.
Only a point away, but still a big gap considering the lack of quality at the bottom, is Blackburn, whose draw with Stoke takes them to 21st. Derby and Norwich then sit on eight points, and neither can be too confident at the moment, either.
