Luke Littler kept his impressive run going yesterday with a comfortable 6-1 win over the legendary Paul Lim. The Nuke was in top form, posting a 106.50 average and hitting three 180s, as he continues to regularly average well over the ton. If he maintains this level, it’s hard to see anyone stopping him from lifting a second Bahrain Masters title.
Gerwyn Price, on the other hand, looked a bit off the pace in his 6-4 victory against Motomu Sakai. He managed to grind out the win but averaged just 86, struggling for scoring early on before showing some improvement later in the match.
Right now, Littler appears to be operating on a completely different level than the rest of the field, and based on how Price played yesterday, this one could be wrapped up fairly quickly.

Luke Humphries breezed through his opening match, producing a 103.66 average during a 6-0 whitewash of Abdulla Saeed for the third consecutive year.
Nathan Aspinall managed to scrape over the line 6-4 against Lourance Ilagan in the first round. The Asp looked to be getting wound up with the pace of the match, something he'll need to rectify going forward. Keeping focused is vital in this sport, especially nowadays, when the standard is so high that you can lose to anyone.
These two met at this stage in last year's tournament, with Humphries coming through 6-5. The majority of the contests over their career have been close, including three of their previous four being decided by one break of throw.

This is the standout choice in the outright market, but at odds of 19/20, it still felt too good to pass up.
Luke Littler is operating on a completely different level from the rest of the field right now, and there’s no sign of him easing off. If anything, his game seems to be improving, with even his quieter performances still producing averages north of 100.
Shorter formats are where his rivals might believe they have a better chance of catching him out, but Littler looks full of confidence at the moment; infact it seems almost effortless.
In truth, he's just on a different planet at the moment, and I think he'll have his eyes on winning the majority of tournaments this season.
