Luke Humphries has been solid as a rock since battling back from behind in his first set of the tournament against Nathan Aspinall. The world number one has averaged 87.64, 95.58, and 91.50 in his three wins at this tournament, which are impressive numbers for this format.
Humphries has always been dangerous if he's still around at this stage of a major tournament, and he mentioned that during his post-match interview last night, which shows he clearly feels good and has his eyes on the title.
Danny Noppert has come through a tough draw to reach his second World Grand Prix semi-final. The Freeze has beaten Jermaine Wattimena, Stephen Bunting, and Gary Anderson en route. The Dutchman was particularly impressive last night, averaging 91.91 to dispatch the Flying Scotsman 3-1.
Both players have looked impressive during this tournament, and I expect a competitive contest. Humphries has the game to blow Noppert away, but the Dutchman looks far more confident than he has been so far this season, so I can't see him rolling over without a fight.

Luke Littler laid down his marker during the first round of this tournament, when he defied a record tournament average (106.47) from Gian van Veen to progress 2-0, with The Nuke averaging 105.58 himself.
The teenager then breezed past defending champion Mike De Decker 3-0, and then came through an epic with Gerwyn Price last night, winning in a final leg decider.
Littler's game is all about rhythm, and with the way the double-in format is in the World Grand Prix, it doesn't allow him to settle as quickly as he would like. We've seen a few frailties in this tournament, especially last night, but he always seems to find a way, and he battled back brilliantly from 2-0 down to deny the Welshman.
Jonny Clayton has continued his resurgence in form to reach his first World Grand Prix semi-final since winning this tournament in 2021. The Ferret has breezed through to this stage, beating Andrew Gilding, Luke Woodhouse, and Dirk van Duijvenbode, losing just one set in the process.
As reliable as Clayton is, this may well be a step too far for the Welshman, simply because Littler looks so strong. The Ferret will remain competitive, though, and will stay in most sets, but The Nuke's scoring power should see him through to his first World Grand Prix final.
