The 2025 Premier League Darts continues tonight as the penultimate night of the league phase takes place at the P&J Live in Aberdeen.
Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, and Gerwyn Price have already confirmed their Playoff places, leaving just one more position at the 02 in London remaining.
Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall are both chasing that final spot, and they face each other tonight in a huge match in Scotland.
Since winning European Tour 4, Michael van Gerwen has won just three of his last eight matches in all competitions, including losing the last four.
Another shock first-round exit at Players Championship 15 on Monday against Dominik Gruellich will do nothing for his confidence coming into a crucial match tonight.
It's been another inconsistent season for the Dutchman, but if he wins his first nightly title tonight, he will secure his spot in the Playoffs in London.
Nathan Aspinall is also going through a tough time at the moment and has won just two from his last eight matches on tour. He's just a point behind MVG in fourth, and a win tonight will move him back into the Playoff positions.
Aspinall has won three of the pair's four meetings in the Premier League this season, and looks the more likely at the moment, so he has a great chance to take advantage of the stuttering Dutchman.
Gerwyn Price secured his Playoff place last week after winning his opening match against Rob Cross. The Welshman has won three nightly titles this season, but has had a lot of inconsistency in between.
He's also publicly slated the Premier League format again, so it doesn't seem as if he's enjoying it, but he still clearly loves the big stage, so he'll no doubt be ready for London.
Stephen Bunting is playing for pride after his playoff hopes were evaporated in Leeds. The Bullet has won just one of his last seven matches on tour but played much better last week, defeating Chris Dobey before losing to Luke Humphries 6-4.
Bunting memorably defeated Price in the final in Berlin to claim his solitary nightly win this year. The pressure is off the Iceman now, and in the build-up to tonight, he's said he may use some new darts after not being satisfied with the grip on his usual set.
I think this will play into Bunting's hands, especially as the Englishman will be desperate to move off the bottom of the Premier League table.
Chris Dobey was extremely unlucky in Leeds, averaging 99.43 in losing to Stephen Bunting 6-5. This should boost his confidence heading into tonight, as he needs to win the remaining two nights to stand a chance of qualifying for the Playoffs.
Hollywood will no doubt be disappointed with his Premier League campaign, which is highlighted by three consecutive defeats since winning on night 11.
Rob Cross started the season brilliantly, but will be bitterly disappointed with how he's played over the last few months.
He's yet to register a nightly win and will need to do so tonight to keep his playoff hopes alive. Voltage averaged just 88.76 last week in Leeds, which followed an 85.66 average at European Tour 6.
Cross looks to be struggling at the moment, and I think he'll come unstuck tonight against the improving Geordie, who knows he needs to be perfect to give himself hope heading into night 16.

Luke Littler will top the league phase for a second straight year if he defeats Luke Humphries tonight, which shows exactly how supremely talented he is.
The teenager has dominated the Premier League this season with a record five nightly victories and comes into this tie seven points above the World Number 1.
Luke Humphries was victorious in his hometown of Leeds last week and will take huge confidence from that into the remainder of the season.
Cool Hand hasn't looked himself at times this year, but after his standards have been so high over the past 2 years, you can hardly blame him for feeling a little burnt out.
The pair had a brilliant match in last week's final, with Humphries coming out on top in a last-leg decider.
I expect it to be another close contest in Aberdeen, but with Humphries hunting down the teenager for top spot, I think he'll have a little more fire in his belly to get the job done.
