Ross Smith is one of the biggest maximum hitters on the planet, and the fact that he's 5/6 to hit more than the Scotsman in this contest may well be the best value you can find today.

Every time I watch Rob Cross play at the moment, it seems like he isn't quite on it like he was a few months ago. It looked as though he had turned a corner, but he quickly slipped back into inconsistent form, and he will need to be very careful this afternoon.

Daryl Gurney is another player who's been inconsistent this season, but overall it's been a solid campaign so far. He's always a much better player on the big stage, and after a recent run to the semi-final of ET10, he should be comfortable enough to get past Cross today.

Luke Littler is, without doubt, the best player in the world right now, and the way he's played at times this season has looked borderline unbeatable. He's openly struggled with the travel and schedule of the European Tour, but I'd be very surprised if he didn't pull out a big average here.

Joe Cullen must feel like banging his head against a wall at times over his form. One minute, he's winning tournaments, and the next, he gets whitewashed or averages sub 85. It's a strange time in the Rockstar's career, and although matches like this are what he thrives on, I can't see him getting close to the dominant teenager.

Josh Rock is another player who is having a great season and growing in confidence. His form on TV this year has given him a massive opportunity for Premier League selection. His form on the European Tour has also been very impressive, and he can stamp down another marker with a big win against his German opponent tonight.

Ricardo Pietreczko is as solid as they come when he's in the mood, but unfortunately for him, that mindset doesn't seem to be around as often as it used to be. He's going to find it tough to keep up with Rocky's scoring power tonight, and he looks set for a tough evening in Budapest.
