• Jurgen van der Velde To Win: 4/5 at William Hill

Martin Lukeman continued his disappointing form yesterday, with a 5-1 defeat against Damon Heta, averaging just 83.04. This would have been the tournament to find form, because of his run to the final last year, I'd have expected him to be comfortable on that stage.

Jurgen van der Velde also suffered a 5-1 defeat yesterday, but didn't play badly (89.62), and I expect him to take full advantage of the struggling Englishman this afternoon.

• Over 7.5 Legs: 11/10 at Paddy Power

Jonny Clayton suffered a shock heavy defeat at the hands of Cam Crabtree yesterday and is now under pressure to qualify for the knockout stages. The Ferret will need to win today to stand any chance, but the leg difference is also a big factor after winning just one leg in his opener.

Lukas Wenig battled well but came up short in a 5-4 defeat to Danny Noppert. It wasn't the highest standard, but I think the German will settle now he's had a game and experienced the atmosphere here.

This is a big game for both, and I expect it to be a close contest.

• James Wade To Win: 13/8 at AK Bets

James Wade was unfortunate yesterday, averaging 97.12 in a 5-4 defeat to Steffan Bellmont, whilst Gerwyn Price also went down 5-4 against Ricky Evans.

This is a big match for both, and even though their leg difference is ok, they'll need a win today. For me, James Wade is a master at navigating through these situations; he's world-class under pressure, and I think he'll scrape past the Iceman this afternoon.

• Under 6.5 Legs: 19/10 at Ladbrokes

Nathan Aspinall will want to bounce back quickly after his abysmal display of finishing yesterday (3/22) during a 5-3 defeat to Michael Smith.

The Asp has been in fantastic form throughout most of 2025, though, and I expect him to come out firing this evening and inflict another heavy defeat on the American.
