The fourth European Tour event of the season will be played in Munich at the German Darts Grand Prix and will feature 48 of the best players in the world competing for silverware.
Luke Littler returns to European Tour action for the first time since his win at the season-opening Belgian Darts Open. He comes here as the number 1 seed, looking for another big title to add to his already impressive resume.
Saturday's first-round action will feature 16 matches across two sessions, with German number 1 Martin Schindler headlining as one of six host nation representatives.
Mickey Mansell will be making his first appearance on the European Tour this season in Munich, and he comes here in decent form after a quarter-final run in PC14 on Tuesday. The Northern Irishman has won 17 of his 32 games this season on tour with a running average of 91.69.
Ritchie Edhouse hasn't managed to push on since winning his first major last season, but did have a run to the quarter-finals of PC12 a few weeks ago. Edhouse has been too inconsistent in 2025, but he has such a high ceiling in his game, so he remains dangerous.
Mickey Mansell is 5-3 up in the head-to-head between these two and won their most recent meeting at PC03, 6-4 in the first round. Mansell is a very steady operator and doesn't fear the big stage, so he looks a big price here.

Daryl Gurney looked back to his best at times in 2024, but he hasn't managed to push on so far in 2025 and has won just 49% of his matches this season (17/35). He did have a run to the last 16 of the Belgian Darts Open, but other than that, results have been hard to come by.
Niels Zonneveld is finally starting to show his early career promise and has pushed on so far in 2025. He's won 62% of his matches this season and has had two quarter-finals and a semi-final in Players Championship events. The Dutchman is 47th in the world now and looks far more consistent than he used to be, and has a respectable running average of 92.11 this season.
This is Zonneveld's first appearance on the European Tour this season, and if he settles down quickly, he can take advantage of the inconsistent Super Chin.

Wessel Nijman continues to impress on the PDC tour, but he's been very unlucky in certain matches this season and has lost a lot of last-leg deciders. The Dutchman has played well on the European Tour this season with a last 32, a last 16, and a quarter-final run in the recent International Darts Open 2 weeks ago.
Scott Williams has to be one of the most frustrating dart players to be a fan of because he continues to perform well on the big stage, but seemingly has no consistency away from the cameras. Because of his struggles on the floor, this is the first European Tour event he's qualified for this season, but he did have a run to the semi-final of PC10 at the beginning of April.
Williams is a different player on the big stage, but he's been handed a stinker of a draw here, and the big scoring Dutchman should have too much quality for Shaggy.

Ricardo Pietreczko has won each of his three first-round matches this year on the European Tour, and he always plays better in front of his home crowd. The German is hard to predict and can sometimes lose his concentration, but he's had some good results recently on tour and had runs to the last 16 and quarter-final of PC13 and PC14 last week.
Adam Paxton played brilliantly to gain his PDC Tour Card in January, but has found it very tough so far on the main tour. Just two wins in his first 12 Players Championship events will do nothing for his confidence, but he won't be scared of the cameras after being a regular on the Modus Super Series over the past few years.
Pietreczko will have the crowd on his side and always seems to play better on the European Tour stage, so all the signs point towards a tough afternoon for the English debutant.

Mensur Suljovic is in the twilight of his career but remains competitive. A 92.88 seasonal running average and a run to the last 16 of PC08 in March show he can still cause problems for any player on tour.
Krzysztof Ratajski looked brilliant during the World Championship at Ally Pally and had a great run to the last 32. He looked equally impressive at the UK Open and had a run to the last 16. The Polish Eagle has struggled badly on the floor, though, and has lost seven first-round ties in a row after making it to the quarter-final of PC07.
Both players are lacking consistency at the moment, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Austrian scraped through in a last-leg decider, but the value here for me is over 9.5 legs as I expect it to be a close contest.
