The European Tour continues this weekend in Prague for the Czech Darts Open, which will feature 48 of the best players in the world competing for the £30,000 top prize.
Damon Heta has had a very up-and-down season and hasn't been his usual consistent self. When he's on it, he's on it, though, and remains one of the most dangerous players in world darts.
Wessel Nijman is one of the most exciting young talents in the sport, and although he's also been a little inconsistent at times, he looks at home on the big stage. He battled his way past Richard Veenstra 6-5 yesterday with a 92.46 average, but will need to improve this afternoon to get past the Aussie.
I don't think you'll see many coin flips over the course of the day, but this looks like one of them to me. Therefore, the value here is in the legs, as I expect it to be a very closely fought contest.

Chris Dobey looks to have picked up his form lately, with good runs in the Australian and New Zealand Masters, where he reached the semi-final on both occasions. The Geordie also played well last week at Euro Tour 10, but was unlucky to lose out to Krzysztof Ratajski with a 96.67 average.
Jermaine Wattimena continued his resurgence in form with a solid 6-4 victory over Brendan Dolan in round one. He didn't play his best, though, averaging just 89.11, so he will need to play better this afternoon.
Dobey has always been a 180 machine, and I think he's starting to look smooth again, and for that reason, I can see him brushing aside the Dutchman.

Dave Chisnall has lost his opening match in his last five European Tour events, and has only managed to win more than a game in 1 of his last 13 in Europe. That's extremely worrying if you're a Chizzy fan, and it doesn't get any easier this afternoon either against Heavy Metal.
Ryan Searle battled past home favourite, Filip Manak, yesterday 6-2. It wasn't the best game, with Searle averaging 85.61, but he'll be a different animal today against a better opponent.
Chizzy has really struggled at times this year, especially on the Euro Tour, so I expect Searle to take advantage of that and progress to the third round.

Peter Wright continues to struggle for form, and it's getting to the point now where it's hard to predict how he will play from one week to the next. He averaged just 74.62 last week in Belgium and will need to be on his toes this afternoon to avoid an upset.
Benjamin Pratnemer was very impressive yesterday during his first-round victory over Ricardo Pietreczko. He won 6-4 with an 85.72 average but was just 6/18 on the doubles, so if he improves on his finishing stats, he can cause Wright all sorts of problems.

James Wade is having a fabulous season and has risen to number 5 in the World Rankings. The Machine had another great run last week at European Tour 10, where he reached the semi-final, losing out to Josh Rock 7-5. That's now back-to-back semi-finals for Wade on the Euro Tour, and three in total over the season.
Nathan Aspinall returned after a summer break with a 6-0 whitewash victory over Jiri Brejcha with an 85 average. He will be slightly rusty after not playing competitively since the World Matchplay, and he may get found out today against the ultra-solid Wade.

Michael van Gerwen continues to search for his best form, but he just isn't consistent enough at the moment. He's struggling to get a few wins together in any competition, which is constantly halting his momentum and confidence. It's still MVG, though, and he can average 110 at any time.
Mike De Decker was superb yesterday, beating Richie Edhouse 6-3 with a 100.90 average and 8 maximums. The Belgian has always been a fabulous scorer, and his odds today are fantastic value to outscore the Dutchman, who doesn't hit as many 180s as he used to.
